I love their sharpness, and especially S-Log3, which gives me the flexibility to create my own look in the grade. I chose the FX3 because it’s compact and easy to travel with, yet delivers incredible cinematic image quality.” 🎥 Sony FX3 + Sony Alpha 7 IV G Master lenses: 35mm, 50mm, and 70–200mm Where are you taking your Sony camera next? ✈️ #SonyAlpha 06 Nov 2026 HOW I EDIT MY UNDERWATER PHOTOS 🐋 This is just a glimpse into my underwater editing process. In reality, I can spend hours fine-tuning blue hues and adjusting masks—but I hope this gives you a helpful starting point. Here are a few of my favorite tips for editing underwater images: 1. DEHAZE + CLARITY — The first thing I adjust when editing underwater images is dehaze and clarity. Water naturally reduces contrast and sharpness, so these tools help bring back some of that crispness and detail. Just be careful not to overdo it! 2. BLUES — Don’t be afraid to play around with your blues! I like mine to be a rich, deep blue—not quite purple, but not quite turquoise, either. I aim for a natural look with a little enhancement, but I love seeing how creative people get with their color grading. There’s so much room to experiment! 3. MASKING — Masking is my absolute favorite editing tool and, in my opinion, one of the most important. I use it to isolate my subject and adjust its exposure and color independently from the surrounding water. Underwater, subjects can take on a strong blue or green color cast, so I often use masking to bring back some of the reds and yellows that can get lost, helping the subject look more natural. These are just a few of the adjustments I make—but often every image is different! Underwater editing is definitely a process of experimenting and finding what works best for your image. Happy editing! p.s. if you’re looking for support, encouragement, and an incredible photography community, go check out the @sonyalphafemale Facebook page! It’s been such a valuable resource for me and has played a huge part in my growth as a photographer. 05 Nov 2026 If life’s felt like a blur lately, here’s your sign to lean into it. Leave the shutter open a little longer and see where you find stillness. 🌊 Photo by @AmyGadabout with her Sony Alpha 7R III in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California with 2 shots: First shot, a panning motion blur shot: ISO 100 | f/14 | 0.6 sec | 180mm Second shot: ISO 125 | f/10 | 1/160 sec | 180mm 📸🏄 #SonyAlpha 05 Nov 2026 Chasing the Alpenglow in Patagonia with @farawayfarers. ⛰️ Breathtaking colors and landscapes, captured by Konstantinos & Maritina with their Sony Alpha 1 + 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS lens. F7.1 | 1/200sec | ISO 100 #SonyAlpha 04 Nov 2026 “While the forest fills with mushrooms and fallen leaves, tiny lives are still taking advantage of the last warm rays of sunshine. This little butterfly, with its beautifully worn wings, seems to carry the story of an entire season. Every faded edge, every missing piece, a reminder of the days already passed and the journeys taken. The wings may no longer be perfect, but perhaps that’s what makes this moment so beautiful. Autumn isn’t the end of life in the botanical garden. It’s a quieter chapter, where the sun still warms, flowers still bloom, and some tiny visitors are not quite ready to say goodbye. As a macro photographer, I really appreciate how the high resolution of my Sony A7RV delivers excellent detail and sharpness, which are crucial for macro photography, where even the smallest textures and details matter. Moreover, the fully articulating screen is incredibly useful when shooting from unusual angles. I decided to choose the A7RV camera and the 100mm F2.8 Macro GM OSS lens because of their superior image quality and excellent ergonomics.” - @naturephotography.by.iwona 🦋🍂 100mm | F7,1 | 1/160 | ISO 320 #SonyAlpha 03 Nov 2026 If I were upgrading from my camera today, this is the camera I’d buy. Even with newer bodies in my bag, the @SonyAlpha 7 IV is still the one I keep coming back to. It has really grown with me and remains in my kit to this day. Whether you’re just starting out or leveling up, I highly recommend this camera. #SponsoredbySony #SonyAlpha 02 Nov 2026 Crimson Morning, Lake Wanaka, New Zealand, by @garyhartphoto 🌄 📷: Alpha 7R III 🔭: 24-105mm F4 G OSS #SonyAlpha 01 Nov 2026 Selects from the pros 🤌 The NFL season is well underway, and the @APNews photographers have been there to capture every moment.
