Have I introduced you to my alter ego, LAZY LEE?! Haha! She REALLY likes to show her true colors around the holidays!!! Because as much as I love this time of year, I am NOT the girl who’s going to go over the top. The holidays are stressful enough as is. My motto?! SIMPLE, SIMPLE, SIMPLE!!! Throw an overlay designed by yours truly over your favorite photo! 2. CROP IN!!! Life is all about the edit, people! Crop out the not-so-awesome stuff and focus on the good! 3. Make it BLACK AND WHITE! Everything looks a little fancier and more editorial in black and white, don’t ya think?! 4. And YES, add a border! Also designed by yours truly! Here’s the thing about holiday cards... the goal is SPECIAL, not PERFECT!!! Just because your cards arrive looking all pretty and finished doesn’t mean you can’t have a little more fun with them! I’ve always loved a handwritten note, a funny little saying, and any excuse to put pen to paper. So naturally, I couldn’t resist drawing a few little speech bubbles coming out of our faces before sending our cards off! Haha! A little doodle, an inside joke, a few handwritten words.
