Coming along to the brewery tap this weekend? You’ll notice we’ve been busy creating a little shop area for all your beery merch needs. It includes our signature dog bandanas, as beautifully modelled by the lovely Maddie 🖤🦴 Our brewery tap is open from 1pm on Friday & Saturday, every week and is always dog & family friendly. We look forward to seeing you on the farm 🚜 Oh and if you can’t make it along to the farm, stay tuned as our webshop is about to make a new and improved come back! Today’s forecast : Stormy with a chance of Pints & Pizza 🍻🍕 Yes, it’s pretty grim out there but in the brewery tap it’s warm and cosy! Sit by the fire and enjoy a beer or two and a pizza from @matchboxpizzaco. We’re open from 1pm until 9pm with farm fresh beers, alongside AF beer from our friends at @tempestbrewingco, @tomoliverscider cider, local spirits and organic wines and of course speciality coffee from @northumberlandcoffee. We’ve got board games for all ages, cosy corners, log burners and we’re always family and dog friendly. Yesterday, we spent the day washing, checking and cutting our Northumbrian apples for the final apple press of 2026! After pressing the juice was transferred into our Grundy tank, with the addition of a yeast nutrient, this will then be left to wild ferment, with just the yeast from the apples themselves, for a few months, before being transferred into barrels for barrel ageing. It’ll be ready for packaging in about a year’s time. And if you’re wondering why the tank is outside? No it doesn’t live there, it was just there for the transfer and now it’s been moved back into its shed. We keep our mixed/wild fermentation beers away from our “clean” beers so to avoid any cross contamination.
