What a whirlwind it’s been at the Asian Film Awards alongside Win, Janella, and Direk Sigrid! 🌟 The support from the AFA for emerging talents and narratives in the film industry is both encouraging and crucial. It’s platforms like these that allow fresh voices to be heard and bring to light the rich tapestry of stories from diverse cultures. 🌍 It’s a surreal honour for our debut film, “Under Parallel Skies,” to be the finale program at the @asianfilmawardsacademy. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and a there is also deep sense of gratitude as we gear up for tonight’s world premiere. ⭐ and of course a huge congrats to Win for winning the AFA Rising Star Award! Reflecting on last year, where I walked the AFA red carpet as a guest and had the incredible opportunity to meet Ji Chang Wook (it’s still pinned haha), to this year, being part of the AFA program with our film, is a testament to the unexpected and thrilling journey of storytelling. Crazy to think that after more than 20 years of being a football fan, I finally got the chance to attend an official @fifa event with @meta 🥹⚽️ There’s something special about watching a country you feel connected to compete on the world stage. I hope one day we’ll get to experience that same feeling with Philippine football too. 🇵🇭 anddd maybe one day, we’ll even see the Philippines at the FIFA WORLD CUP.
