Nieve Ella (@nieveella) has come a long way since telling us, three years ago, “I literally don’t know what I’m doing. Everything shocks me.” Now she’s preparing to release debut album ‘How Long Will It Take?’, taking inspiration from Wolf Alice, Prince and vampire movies while tackling growing up and the pressure to have everything figured out. “There’s more to life than survival,” she tells us. Rachel Chinouriri (@rachelchinouriri) has been having a bit of a rethink. Her second album ‘I think I spoke too soon’ turns a difficult personal period into a disco-inspired record, with Madonna, Kylie and Chic among the influences. Having questioned whether she even wanted to be a singer, she’s come out the other side with a renewed appetite for music and considerably less enthusiasm for arriving home at 6am. LETS HAVE IT 💥 @adultdvdmenu are joining us Round The Houses in 2027 - calling into frankly ridiculous headline nights in York, Stoke and Birkenhead. Oh yes. Yes indeed. Joined by thriving rave-lighters @bathingsuitsband across all three dates, it’s Proper Parties Only. It follows quite a year for Adult DVD, releasing a FIVE STAR debut album, storming festivals across the globe and smashing a sold out headline tour across the U.K. and now into Europe. When we say they are one of the very best live bands on the planet, we mean it. We kick off in York on 24th March before rolling it back at The Sugarmill in Stoke on 25th March and a closing headline night at Future Yard in Birkenhead on Friday 26th March. BRISTOL and NOTTINGHAM we have some news. @paintbynumberslive next edition has officially got even bigger with @homecountiesband joining the all-day takeover as co-headliners! Undeniable live favourites, Home Counties know a thing or two about a good time. With latest album ‘Humdrum’ paving the way, there’s nobody we’d rather call up for an end of year shindig. They join previously announced names including co-headliner @tomasmithmusic alongside @cosign333, @jeanieandthewhiteboys, @uglyozo, @midnightrodeoband, @sweetgeneband and @sweetconnector spanning across two stages in each city. Bristol’s very own @new_cut_band will be kicking things off in their hometown only, whilst @davolimusic will be doing the same over in Nottingham only. Taking place at @theklabris in Bristol on 5th December and @bodeganotts in Nottingham on 6th December, Paint By Numbers is once again continuing the reputation that has already seen two standout editions so far - which has featured the likes of Porij, Coach Party, My First Time, Tooth, Silverwingkiller, Just For Fun, Lemonsuckr and many more.
