Vivimos momentos dificiles.
Ahora empieza a organizarse. NI UN PASO ATRÁS!

The world’s first Conscious Travel Platform is here. 🌍
Queer Destinations and HBX Group @hbx_group launch a first-of-its-kind global infrastructure designed to transform how inclusive travel works — at scale.
This milestone combines Queer Destinations certification and hospitality training with HBX Group’s advanced booking technology and exclusive global accommodation inventory.
The result? A scalable ecosystem where travellers can discover, trust, and book within a verified inclusive network worldwide.
The LGBTQ+ community represents $3.7 trillion in annual spending power.
Now, that power can be consciously directed toward destinations and businesses that have demonstrably committed to inclusion.
Welcome to a new era of conscious travel. 🌈

A new study by Forbidden Colours finds that anti-gender activity has expanded across all 47 European countries analysed over the past 25 years.
The movement has grown from street activism into parliaments and government coalitions. Researchers also identify a strong correlation between its expansion and democratic deterioration, including pressure on independent media, civic freedoms and institutional checks on power.
The report calls for early action and stronger international coordination in defence of feminist and LGBTQ+ rights.

A federal court in Washington has strongly criticised ICE’s conduct in a case concerning records on the treatment of transgender people in immigration detention.
The court described some of the agency’s actions as “unacceptable” and pointed to “flagrant” shortcomings in detainees’ treatment and conditions.

Human rights organisations are urging the European Union to freeze Turkey’s accession process following a nationwide campaign of arrests targeting LGBTQ+ people and their supporters.
According to the organisations, 241 people have been arrested and at least 82 remain in pre-trial detention. Another 125 protesters were arrested at solidarity gatherings in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir.
The NGOs are calling for the prosecutions to be dropped and urging the EU, the Council of Europe and the United Nations to condemn the raids and arrests.

In 2026, Amsterdam was no longer just a stop on Europe's Pride calendar. It was the centre of it.
Hosting #WorldPride meant becoming, for a few weeks, the epicentre of a global movement.
But WorldPride is more than a symbol: it's a genuine tourism catalyst, turning global attention into travellers, spending and lasting value across the city, long after the event has ended.
This is just one insight from our latest report on Pride events across Europe, created with @queerdestinations. Download your copy to see how Pride is reshaping tourism across Europe, and how data can help destinations understand its impact before, during and after the event.

A new legal reform in Ecuador confirms that joint adoption remains reserved for couples of different sexes, excluding same-sex couples from adopting together.
Although the reform is intended to accelerate adoption procedures, LGBTQ+ organizations have rejected provisions affecting both same-sex families and trans minors. They have announced plans to challenge the law before the Constitutional Court on the grounds of equality, non-discrimination, family rights and the best interests of the child.
Until a court ruling changes the current legal framework, the constitutional restriction will remain in force.

The United Nations has called on Portugal’s government to reconsider proposed changes to the country’s gender identity law, warning that they could affect several fundamental human rights.
The rollback would restrict gender-affirming care and legal gender recognition while introducing new nationality and diagnostic requirements for trans adults. UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk has warned that the measures risk re-pathologizing gender identity and undermining privacy, autonomy and self-determination.
While right-wing parties have defended the reform, human rights advocates and left-wing opposition groups are urging lawmakers to protect the rights established under Portugal’s current legislation.

Today, #Pride is a collective expression of identity, freedom and belonging – but also a powerful force that leaves a lasting mark on host cities, driving tourism and fueling local economies while amplifying their global profile.
In collaboration with @queerdestinations, our latest report – powered by #DataAppealMabrian – quantifies this impact across European destinations that have hosted some of 2026’s leading Pride celebrations, exploring their effects on tourism, local spending and accommodation demand, and their role in shaping each destination’s identity and global perception.

Turkish security forces have carried out raids against LGBTQ+ rights organizations and activists as part of a police operation spanning 15 provinces.
Organizations have reported detentions, searches of their offices and the seizure of digital materials. Human rights groups, including Amnesty International, have condemned the operation and warned against associating lawful activism with criminal activity.
A coalition of organizations is demanding the immediate and unconditional release of the detained activists, describing the raids as an attempt to discredit Turkey’s LGBTQ+ movement and restrict freedom of association.

Asturias is expected to approve its long-awaited LGBTQ+ law in October, bringing the region closer to a specific legal framework protecting LGBTQ+ people and their families.
Developed with LGBTQ+ organizations and different social groups, the bill seeks to prevent discrimination, respond to hate speech and violence, and introduce stronger protection measures and sanctions.
The proposal has continued its parliamentary path after lawmakers rejected Vox’s attempt to block it. Its supporters argue that broad political and social consensus is essential to prevent LGBTQ+ rights from becoming a source of partisan confrontation.
