Without a doubt, Rude and Lovely, the debut album from @a100sband, has made a seismic impact on the ska & reggae scene - and underground music in general - in 2026. Expect it to start showing up on tons of "Best of" lists any day now! With an absolutely incredible all-star band centered around the songwriting duo of Matt Hensley (@floggingmolly) and Sean Wheeler (@throwrag), with Roger Rivas (@theaggrolites) helping out with production, this Southern California combo came straight out of the gate fully formed and ready to light up stages and stereos. The first two singles, "Too Rad To Be Sad" and the title track "Rude and Lovely" left fans wanting more, and once the full album dropped it was hailed as an instant classic. As a result, it's been hard to keep enough vinyl in stock to keep up with demand! So back to the presses we go, and you can get your hands on the brand new 12" Kintsugi Marble Vinyl pressing of Rude and Lovely from the @piratespressrecords webstore NOW! Zezo Zece Zadfrack and the Dune Buggy Attack Battalion (1986) was the first band in the desert to use a drum machine instead of a drummer due to the lack of drummers available who were committed to other bands. The band’s eccentric and undeniable style left an indelible impression on bands such as Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age. This band is featured in the film #rockandrollhistory #desertrock 19 Oct 2026
