A school’s spaces say a lot about what it believes children should experience.
We wanted ORA World School to be a place where learning could move beyond the classroom. Where a pottery studio invites children to make, a science lab encourages them to experiment, the Living Kitchen brings everyday skills into learning, and the Ateliers give their ideas room to take shape.
Every space has been chosen with a thought behind it: children deserve more than one way to learn, explore and discover what interests them.
This is the campus we imagined when we created ORA World School. A place where the environment is part of the learning, and every child has room to find their own way forward.

What does a school look like when learning goes beyond the classroom?
At ORA World School, a Cambridge education comes together with signature Atelier programmes in Living Kitchen, Artisan, Digital and Entrepreneurship, alongside mandatory physical education programmes in gymnastics and Jiu-Jitsu.
From creating with their hands to building strength, discipline and confidence, children experience different ways of learning, growing and discovering their abilities, all under one roof.

Two days of creativity, curiosity and ideas coming to life at the ORA Atelier Showcase.
From pottery and textiles to photography, sound experiments and young entrepreneurial ventures, our learners shared the work they’ve been exploring and creating across the year.
Visitors got hands-on at the Sustainability Space, explored the Interactive Wall, experienced the Sound Lab and listened to our learners speak about their ideas. In the Kitchen Lab, our learners even prepared and
served the catering themselves.
It was lovely to see parents and children exploring the exhibits with so much excitement, asking questions and enjoying the experiences together. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and we’re incredibly proud of our learners and all the thought, effort and creativity they put into their work.

What children learn doesn’t always fit neatly into a worksheet.
Sometimes, it’s about listening to a friend, trying one more time, bringing an idea to life or finding another way when the first one doesn’t work.
At ORA world School, these moments matter just as much as the lessons on the page. They’re part of growing into someone who can think independently, work with others and find their own way forward.

From wrapping and working with wool to experimenting with tie-dye, our learners explored how simple materials can turn into something entirely their own.
At ORA, the Artisan Atelier gives children the freedom to work with their hands, experiment with colours and textures, and discover what happens when they try an idea for themselves.

Disappointment is part of the journey. What matters is what you choose to do next.
Coach Carlos Almeida shares a simple yet powerful way of looking at setbacks. Not every expectation will be met, not every outcome will go your way. Sometimes, all you can do is learn from the experience, dust yourself off, and show up again.
Because resilience isn't about never being knocked down. It's about finding the strength to keep moving forward.

Learning doesn’t look the same every day at ORA World School.
Some days are messy, some are full of questions, and some come with a few wrong turns before things finally click. Then there are those lovely moments when a learner holds up their work and says, “Look what I made!”
Those moments are all part of learning, and we love seeing where each one takes our learners.

Halloween at ORA World School was a celebration of imagination, community and caring for our planet.
Beyond the costumes, creativity and festive fun, this year’s celebration brought our parent community together for a potluck for the very first time. It was a lovely opportunity to share not just food, but a value we are intentional about practising at ORA: sustainability.
Our decorations were made thoughtfully with paper, cloth and reusable materials, with many saved for future celebrations. Parents brought homemade dishes in reusable casseroles, and we served them using steel plates and cutlery, keeping single-use plastic out of the celebration. Food scraps were composted in our on-campus composting area, where they become nourishment for our gardens.
These may seem like small choices, but they are meaningful ones. We want our learners to see that environmental responsibility is not only something we talk about in school. It is reflected in the way we celebrate, share and care for the world around us.
We may not get every step right, but we believe that progress begins with intention and grows through everyday action.
At ORA, we hope to nurture children who are not only curious and capable, but thoughtful about the world they are part of.
What is the value of education if it doesn’t help us care for the world we live in?

A child may come to class to learn a technique. But what they take away can be so much more.
Coach Carlos Almeida shares how his approach to teaching children goes beyond physical practice. Through guided conversations, reflection, and the freedom to explore within a structured environment, children learn to understand the meaning behind what they do.
It’s not just about learning how to take someone down. It’s about learning discipline, seeing things from another perspective, and applying those lessons to everyday life.
Because the most meaningful learning happens when children understand the why, not just the how.

Potato wedges, little chefs and a lesson that goes well beyond the plate!
At ORA, our Living Kitchen is where learners practise more than cooking. From washing their hands and following kitchen safety rules to preparing food, sharing it with everyone and helping clean up afterwards, every step teaches them to be responsible and independent.
The best part? Seeing something they made themselves being enjoyed by their friends and mentors.

A child can only discover what the world has to offer when they're given the chance to experience it.
Coach Carlos Almeida shares why bringing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu into ORA World School is a step towards a bigger vision for education: one where children get to explore beyond textbooks, discover new interests, and find what truly excites them.
Some children find their spark in sport, others in art, mathematics, or history. The more opportunities they experience, the more possibilities they can imagine for themselves.
Sometimes, opening a new door is all it takes to help a child discover a whole new world. 🥋

What if education gave children more room to discover who they want to become, rather than simply preparing them for what’s expected?
Coach Carlos Almeida shares why martial arts deserves to be seen as more than an extracurricular activity. It can help children discover their interests, explore different possibilities, and develop a perspective that goes beyond the classroom.
One child once told him, “I want to be a gardener.” A simple answer, yet a beautiful reminder that every child sees the world differently, and every dream deserves to be taken seriously.
