Introducing the @ofgcustoms LONG SHOT. The Long Shot is an optical adapter that allows you to use Full Frame/Large Format/Vista Vision lenses, and retain the full field of view, depth of field, and character of those lenses onto the 16mm format. It was designed specifically to use with PL mount 16mm cameras like the ARRI 416, ARRI SR3, AATON Xtera, XTR Prod, and more. You now have 10 times the lens options for 16mm film, as well as the ability to capture a completely new look, no one has ever seen for 16mm. This truly is 16mm reimagined. The Long Shot has swappable mounts, and we have mounts for PL, LPL, Canon EF, Nikon F, Canon FD, BNCR, and more! Special thanks to cinematographer Gary Long @prince.dpx for brining us this project, and trusting OFG with his concept. He also shot all the gorgeous test footage in this demo reel. We have something extremely important to share today. Nick Demaree, one of Old Fast Glass’ most incredible people, suffered a tragic accident recently, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. As you can imagine, treatment, care, rehab, and other huge changes to Nick’s life, have a substantial financial cost. During this season of giving, we are asking you to support Nick and his family. Beautiful work from @prince.dpx for Adidas ‘MLB X WS 26’ featuring Joe Fox as the professor @joefeezie and Dean Simone @dean_simone & Alison Frank @alifrank55 as the examiners. Gary paired our TLS Canon Rangefinders with an ARRI Alexa Mini LF. He mainly used the amazing 50mm T1.1 (Canon 50mm f0.95 “Dream Lens”). This set was built around the stunning look of this lens. They have a softer rendering that is ideal for digital sensors. They have slightly lower contrast, and deliver bold amber colored flares. Bokeh is like nothing else. It’s one of our favorite sets of lenses. Full frame DOF and FOV on 16mm sounds like a long shot. Nobody thought anyone would build it, but we did it anyway and named it appropriately. Can´t get the shot you envisioned? We would sooner invent the right tool for the job than turn you down. Now our cinematographers enjoy a virtually endless library of lenses on the stunning texture of the 16mm format. 03 Nov 2026

Beautiful work from cinematographer @maxgoldberg for BACKOPS - “DON’T” Max paired our @ancientoptics STATERA Anamorphic primes with Sony Venice 2. STATERA are full frame 1.5x squeeze anamorphic lenses that are the perfect balance of modern performance and classic anamorphic character. When paired with the Venice 2 shooting the full 3:2 open gate sensor, that gives you a final 2.25:1 aspect ratio, making it easy to finish 2:1 or 2.40:1 with minimal cropping.
