Wow. What else can I say? I’ve been part of 3 weddings in the last 30 days and all I can say is wow. I had a moment of pure tiredness (after having 3 nights of going to bed at 2:00am you kind of hit the bottom😭), and I heard that still small voice say, “I wanted you to help.” These pictures don’t seem glamorous, but this is the true essence of being a bridesMAID. It was A LOT of work, but my favorite moment was when the bride finally said “I’m EXCITED!”, seeing the bride appear out of nowhere and dance her heart out after I told the DJ to play her favorite song (the night COULD NOT END WITHOUT HER HEARING HER FAVORITE SONG!), when the bride trusted me with a decoration and at the end of the night she says, “this is exactly what I wanted…” I can’t tell you how it feels to sit back and watch your best friends get married while staring and remembering all of the little details you put into it to make it happen. At that moment, you feel a little proud, and even though you receive “nothing” in return, you feel heaven with you telling you that there’s a small jewel in your crown. When you value God and people you know that this is the kind of reward that money can’t buy. The kind of reward that’s truly worth having. To all the bridesmaids, maid/matron of honor, groomsmen, best man — anyone who plays a part in these special days, you are seen, you are appreciated. To my ladies who feel like they are the bridesmaid and never the bride, YOU ARE SPECIAL, YOU ARE SEEN, YOU WILL BE A BRIDE! And one day, you’ll have your own maid of honor and someone to thank for making your day special. Keep holding on, God sees you! I am waiting on my own miracles, but my heart is full. Thank you to everyone who took a chance on me to make your day special. I’d do it over and over and over again if it means you get to marry the one God has placed on this earth for you to marry.
