When @nimshap first asked me to edit TORN, I felt like a political orphan. I had left my country for a new one, in what felt as much like an escape as a move. I didn’t feel safe anymore where I grew up. There was no budget yet. Just a powerful idea: to explore how @dedebandaid and @nitzanmintz hostage posters had become ideological battlegrounds on the streets of New York, exposing the violence and the absence of compassion on both sides. We started editing. Taking things apart, putting them back together, crying over testimonies that were almost impossible to comprehend. Hoping someone on the other side would listen. @shaymizzz joined us, and soon we were editing across two continents, building the film as it was still being shot. New interviews, new footage from @eyalbaucohen , and Nim doing what he does so well: finding the emotional truth in every encounter. Transcribing interviews as they happened, then rushing back into the edit to rethink the structure all over again. Now, almost exactly three years after October 7, TORN has won the New York Emmy for Documentary - Cultural. I’m so happy we made it here. Congratulations to everyone who helped bring this film into the world, and especially to Nim. To the hostages and their families: sending you love and strength. And to everyone watching, listening, and staying in this difficult conversation - thank you. TORN is available on Apple TV internationally and on yes VOD in Israel. 11 Oct 2026

It’s 2026. We know by now you don’t need a yacht to be on one. For @data.rails , I directed a series of commercials built around scripts that were bigger than the budget. So we shot what had to be real and built the impossible around it. My first experiment with hybrid filmmaking, and definitely not the last. 30 Sep 2026

I can’t believe we got to recreate not one but TWO barista counters, drink cocktails named Thyme is a Construct and Cale’s Elixir, and screen our 100th episode in a beautiful theater at @thelighthousecampus ☕️🩵🍵 THANK YOU for supporting our journey.
