It all kicked off on 22 October at the Centrale dell’Acqua di Milano, where our MA students revealed “Reinventing Centrale”, nine fresh reinterpretations of its identity created with MM Spa.  The next day, the vibe moved to our Milan campus for the first “NABA Paper Jam”, a full-on celebration of indie publishing where students and Alumni publications took over the space, with live drawing and a bookbinding workshop open to everyone. Selected creators then pitched their work to an industry jury.  Then, on 25 October, we wrapped things up at the ADI Design Museum with “This Charming Mag”, our talk on independent magazines as a teaching project.  👆 Three intense days of communication design and visual cultures to dive into right now  👀 Catch the full recap  🔗 Link in bio! 05 Nov 2026 Every legendary scene needs a world to happen in, and set designers are the ones building it from scratch. 🎭  At NABA Milan, it all starts in the Set Design Lab, where sketches turn into scale models and wild ideas finally get their own stage. In this video, Denise Carnini (NABA Faculty) gives us the full tour, telling us what students take on from day one, how she helps them take an idea off the page and into real space, and why vision and storytelling count as much as technique. Plus, she explains why this lab is the place to grow, where you learn to think in 3D and give every story the space it deserves!  👀 Go backstage at NABA’s Set Design Lab with Denise  🎥 Catch the full video  👆 Link in bio! 04 Nov 2026 Got big creative dreams but no clear plan yet? Then came two intensive weeks packed with NABA’s best know-how, covering contemporary topics in all the creative subjects taught across the NABA Areas.  The approach was hands-on and interdisciplinary: they worked on real projects with lecturers and industry pros, while getting to know the art and culture of their host city.  By the end, some had fallen for Italian Design, others had found creative sides they’d never explored, and others just loved living the Italian way of life with new friends from everywhere. But that’s not all.  🎥 Catch the rest of their story now  👀 Watch the full video  👆 Link in bio 02 Nov 2026 NABA Roma was back at Maker Faire Rome, Europe’s biggest event for innovation and creativity, for the third year running and once again showed up with something surprising: our Graphic Design and Art Direction students brought AURORA. We’re talking about a student project born in the Computer Art course, led by NABA lecturers Gregorio Comandini and Saverio Villirillo, the minds behind Liminal State. The idea: mixing design culture, innovation, visual communication and creative thinking to tackle the challenges of the world we live in today. Over three days at the Gazometro, the students showed it off to a massive crowd and swapped ideas with pros, companies, institutions, and creative communities from all over Europe, walking everyone through the process behind it. Basically, a seriously huge stage for their talent and a reminder that design and communication have a lot to say about the future. 👉 Catch the video 👀 And dive into AURORA 31 Oct 2026 Yesterday, October 29, our MA in Fashion Design and MA in Textile Design students brought their creations to the runway at Fashion Graduate Italia 2026! The show is only part of the story. Let’s step backstage, where all the moments leading up to it come together. The last-minute preparations, the nerves, the laughter and the excitement — all captured on camera. 📸 Scroll through the gallery ✨ And discover how NABA brought it all together, behind the scenes! 30 Oct 2026 Your first interview with a global brand before you’ve even graduated? At NABA, it’s all part of the plan!   Between May and September, our Career Service and Alumni Relations Office brought back the Recruiting Days, putting students face to face with big names in fashion, retail, eyewear and communication.   Each session kicked off with a company presentation and a look at open roles, then straight into first interviews with recruiters, perfect for career tips and a first impression that sticks.   And the brands in the room? Think EssilorLuxottica, Inditex Group (Zara, Zara Home, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho and Lefties), Publicis Groupe, Benetton Group, and Caffeina.  🚀 Relive the Recruiting Days and see how NABA students get a head start on their careers   👀 Catch the full video   👆 Link in bio! 29 Oct 2026 Broken ceramics, mended with intention: three of our BA in Design students won at Contest 3W 🏆  Last semester, guided by lecturer Natascia Fenoglio, our students dug into care as what comes after a crack, answering the brief from Contest 3W, a competition connecting companies and academies since 2019. The theme drew on Kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending ceramics with gold, framing every break as history.  The whole class got hands-on in the Set Design Lab at the NABA Milan campus, mixing hand-building and 3D printing to make ceramic objects that wear their fractures loud and proud.  Every project then competed in the Design and Communication section of the contest against other academies, and on 16 October, three of ours won awards.   Big up to the students who made them: Lapo Verga, Emanuele Spada and Nicolò Maccarone!  👆 Swipe through the gallery  👀 And see how all our students’ projects give care its own form 28 Oct 2026
