Over the last 4 years, I’ve been so blessed by God to have your presence in my life. The care, love, and respect you show in all ways from your selfless nature is a true embodiment of your giving personality.
On New Year’s Eve I was able to see out a vision I wanted to have with you. I wanted this day to be so special and spectacular because you deserve that more than anyone I know. We did it, and your laughs, and your cries of joy were all worth it.
I’m so glad I met you. You’ve already transformed my life. This short King got himself a fiancée! ❤️💍

I can’t believe I’m writing this … this is the first time as an actor I have a character poster made for my role in a film.
There’s something powerful about a movie poster; before anyone watches the film, before a single line is spoken, before the story even begins … the poster is the invitation. It tells people: you belong in this world.
Those who know when I started my career over a decade ago, know how hard it’s been for someone of my skin-tone, complexion, social background etc to ‘make it’ in an industry where only 4.8% of people who look like me are usually represented. However, this is a positive step in the right direction.
My inner child feels belonging because he can see himself reflected back.
Never give up on your dreams man and keep pursuing what will make your inner child come alive. It will bring you greater alignment in life.
I want to thank Zoe Cunningham for allowing me to be part of this very unique project.
Hopefully it can spark the imagination of possibility for a younger, dark-skinned-brown-kid to imagine and reach the heights they set for themselves.

I touched down in Trinidad and Tobago thinking I was arriving somewhere new… but if I’m honest, it felt like I was remembering something. My past; all the people I encountered, the music, the parties, the colours, the food, the vibe.
I come from London where culture isn’t just something you inherit, it’s something you live. It’s loud, it’s layered, it’s full of contradiction and connection all at once. And yet here…I found a familiarity I didn’t expect.
Because Trinidad and Tobago doesn’t ask you to be one thing. It doesn’t box you in. It flows. African, Indian, Caribbean, European, Chinese - it all moves together like a rhythm you don’t need to be taught, you just fall into it.
Thank you T&T for reminding me that identity isn’t a choice you have to make - it’s something you’re allowed to expand into.

Introducing Mim to my 106-year-old Nani (my maternal grandmother’s brother’s wife)
She’s the oldest market trader on the island and still sells her garden crops several times a week.

Annual volunteering at @tootingcommunitykitchen completed for this Ramadan.
When I was younger fasting was like such a big challenge mentally and physically. Now giving food to those who need it when you crave it the most hits the spot.
Grateful for the past month which was filled with the identification and management of adversity in all its forms, patience, reflection and a deeper level of self-awareness. We grow together in spirituality through our growth in giving.
Pray we make it to the next one. 🤲🏽

We went onto the streets of London and asked people whether they would “die before they die?”.
Loved the range of responses to the question. Some literal, some generic, some philosophical.
What does ‘dying before you die’ mean to you? How can it be applied to your life to ensure that you’re living the best life you possibly can?
