Some of my favourite pics from the last few days on @thenations5k 5,000km run and 77 run clubs hosted over 99 days 🤯 An absolutely insane idea that led to two years of conversations, planning, and ultimately an incredible three months on the road with an awesome crew who were all equally in awe of our mate @esmee_ldn for pulling off what many deemed impossible. I’ve never been so invested in a project and never been so proud to have been part of a team. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I’m so grateful to @esmee_ldn for inviting me along for the ride. She’s an absolute hero and I can’t wait to see what’s next 🖐️ 🚀 14 Oct 2026

I’m back on @thenations5k challenge for my penultimate stint. I took these photos last month, but they already feel like a lifetime ago, which makes what @esmee_ldn is doing seem even more unbelievable. I watch her run ultras every day, and the fact that she never complains makes it seem easy, but it really isn’t. 5,000km in 99 days is actually insane, and I’m in total awe. She only has 19 days left. If you’re in Wells, Bath, Bristol or Newport over the next few days, come join us for a 5K while you still have a chance 🧡 14 Sep 2026

One month of @thenations5k 🎉 I joined @esmee_ldn in Inverness to start the challenge on the 27th of June, and since then she’s run over 1500km between cities (≈1000miles) and hosted 24 run clubs, spreading her infectious enthusiasm for the power of movement wherever she goes. I’m insanely proud of her. Averaging an ultra marathon every day, she’s run through exhaustion, heatwaves and chemical burns, slept in car parks, campsites and the floors of friends’ houses, and turned up to every run club as fresh as if she’s just come back from a month-long holiday. I only spent two weeks on the challenge during this first month, but each day felt like a once in a lifetime experience, and the month felt so much fuller as a result. I’m back on the challenge in a few days, and I can’t wait. It’s picking up momentum every day, and I’m excited to see what lies ahead 🏃‍♀️ 🎥 📷 🕺🏼 27 Jul 2026

A week spent capturing Esmée’s journey at Red Bull’s Athlete Performance Centre in Austria. Very few people get to see inside this insane facility - where Red Bull fine tunes its elite athletes - so being given access like we had was a huge privilege. So cool to witness @esmee_ldn getting put through her paces ahead of her challenge by some of the best sports brains in the world (and I only got a little bit jealous that I couldn’t take the tests too).
