I asked @rafaelcasal to shoutout some causes he wants people to know about. He didn’t hesitate to shoutout @youthspeaks, a Bay Area based literacy and poetry based organization. You mate have heard of @bravenewvoices. Rafael got his start teenager doing spoken word with them. He was featured in HBO’s Def Poety Jam three times. Rafael also shouted out an organization that I’m a part of too. It’s called @makeitbay. We are trying to make the Bay Area a more affordable, accessible place for filmmakers to film.
