We thought we had to cancel..šŸ¤Æā¤µļø Summer 2022 I had the pleasure to travel Koh Chang, Thailand to photograph the wedding of my friend Julie and Camilla. The day before the wedding, the weather forecast said pouring rain and thunderstorms. Not gonna lie, I was very anxious how I would manage to capture beautiful and happy moments in the middle of a thunderstorm.. 😰 This day ended up being one of my favorite days ever as a photographer. šŸ¤ I wanna hear your thoughts about shooting in pouring rain and weather. Are u scared ur gonna ruin your camera gear? Do u still bring it?šŸ‘€šŸ¤Æ 25 Mar 2024 Sharing my ups and downs following my dreamā€¦ā¤µļø Ā«You have a great talent vs. you work hard.. šŸ“øĀ» šŸ“š When I started high school, a teacher suggested I avoid photography due to my lack of skills. People often say I’m lucky to have talent, but it wasn’t just about talent—it was years of hard work: late nights, online courses, studying others, and learning from failed shoots. Talent alone isn’t enough; dedication and learning can get you where you want to be. šŸ’ø My first paid gigs came through Instagram, working with athletes and influencers for 80 EUR per 50 photos, but it helped building my portfolio. Over time, I realized success isn’t just about skills—being present, open, and building connections are key. Respecting and talking to people, no matter their role, can lead to unexpected opportunities. šŸŽ‘ For instance, after a 15-minute chat with a stage worker, I was recommended for a major Swedish festival a year later. Networking used to be tough for me, but I learned to listen and show interest in others’ work. People appreciate this more than when you talk only about yourself. Building genuine relationships matters more than just showcasing your own work. šŸ¤šŸ¼ There are many talented photographers, so taking every opportunity counts. You can easily be replaced, so it’s important to seize chances—one could be life-changing.šŸ¤šŸ¼ #photography #lightroom #editing #concertphotography #beforeandafter #trending #canon 25 Mar 2025 Who should be able to call themselves a Ā«photographerĀ»?..šŸ‘€ Also, let me know your favorite photo in this reel šŸ„³šŸ‘‡šŸ¼ #photographer #concertphotography 26 Feb 2025 people have a lot of opinions about how much editing is too much editing. which is interesting, considering photography is already a series of creative decisions before you even press the shutter. i’m not claiming every photograph should be treated like a documentary. sometimes the goal is to document exactly what happened. sometimes it’s to show how it felt. personally, i enjoy having the freedom to do both. i’m curious, where do you draw the line between photography and art?šŸŽØ 21 Oct 2026 proof that every ā€œgot the shotā€ comes with at least one completely unnecessary side quest :) send this to someone who knows exactly what i mean šŸ‘€šŸ«Æ 14 Oct 2026 some of my favorite photos were taken on days where absolutely nothing went according to plan :) rain. wrong place at the wrong time. no time to prepare. broken gear. and occasionally… me simply doing something stupid. i used to think experience meant eventually getting to a point where things stopped going wrong. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø apparently not. i think you just get better at having your three seconds of panic and then going ā€œokay… new plan.ā€ šŸ’” and tbh, some of the frames i love most wouldn’t exist if everything had happened exactly the way i wanted it to! šŸ’ but i’m curious, what’s the best thing you’ve made because something didn’t go to plan?šŸ‘€ it was supposed to absolutely pour down, and for a while i was convinced the weather was going to make everything ten times harder. instead we stopped trying to avoid it, went out in it and the rain ended up making some of my favorite photos from the day. i didn’t know nearly enough about lasers at the time and learned that lesson in a very expensive way. not exactly the souvenir I wanted from the show but hey at least a good pic!!! we were shooting outside when the wind picked up like crazy and the lighting equipment quite literally blew into the pool and short-circuited. so… that was the end of the lighting setup :) i’d positioned myself for a completely different frame and realized very quickly that I was on the wrong side when the big moment happened. there was no time to move, so I just shot it from where I was. turns out I actually prefer how different it looks :) i once managed to shoot an entire wedding in JPEG because i hadn’t checked one setting properly… i realized afterwards, had a small internal crisis, opened the files… and thankfully everything was completelty fine :) i had around 20 minutes, hadn’t seen the stage beforehand and didn’t know what was coming next so most of the time was basically spent running around, watching what was happening and hoping I was standing somewhere useful when something good happened šŸ˜‡ what’s the best thing you’ve made because something didn’t go to plan?? let me know in the comments šŸ¤ŽšŸ‘‡šŸ¼ 08 Oct 2026 5 mistakes I made in the beginningā¤µļø - Center everything. When you’re just starting out, it’s tempting to place everything in the center of your photos. People, trees, buildings and even horizon lines; everything is positioned in the middle of the frame. So instead of placing your subject in the center of the composition, try using the rule of thirds, which encourages you to place your main subject one-third into the frame. - Include distractions in the image It’s easy to get drawn into a scene by a stunning main subject, such as a beautiful silhouette, a beautiful building or a colorful flower - but no matter how stunning the main subject is, you should also pay attention to the other objects in the picture. Before pressing the shutter button, take a quick look at the image. If there are any distracting elements, adjust the angle or crop until they disappear! - Cut out elements at the edge of the image It’s amazing how easy it is to cut off important elements - such as a person’s feet - without realizing you’ve messed it up. These little things are often not visible until someone points them out to you, but once they are brought to your attention, it is impossible not to notice! - Think it’s all about the camera Ā«I bought this amazing camera and I paid a lot for it, but my pictures don’t look good.Ā» This is a common phrase among beginners, who often assume that if you have a good camera, you will automatically take amazing photos. However, this is not the case. When you’re shooting, it’s the person behind the lens who is responsible; A camera is just a tool to help you achieve your creative vision. - Only photograph a subject from a common point of view Each motive has its conventional viewpoints. There’s nothing wrong with capturing a conventional image of a subject, but if you always just take the clichĆ©d image, you’ll never end up with anything original. So instead of just taking one photo of your subject before moving on, spend some time experimenting. Go around it, get down low, find a vantage point and take pictures from above, zoom in close. As you take more photos, you’ll start to see what works and what doesn’t. 24 Mar 2025 I’ve lost gear, undercharged clients, skipped contracts, and even told myself I wasn’t a ā€œrealā€ photographer. Here are some things I wish I knew earlier — so you don’t have to learn them the hard way. Swipe through, and if even one of these hits home, you’re not alone. Save this post for future-you ans and drop the mistake that you learned the hard way belowšŸ¤“šŸ‘‡šŸ¼ Let’s help each other to level up faster šŸ«‚ first photo by @adriankirkerud šŸ“ø #photographer #photography #concertphotography #lightroom #adobe #canon #musicphotography 21 Aug 2025 @burnaboygram in Manchester šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ 04 May 2025 MY GO TO SETUP… ā¤µļø what’s your go to’s? any useful apps or gear you use that you would like to share? comment your setup! šŸ™šŸ¼ also let me know in the comments if you have any questions about my setup ā˜ŗļø …save for later šŸ–¤ #photographer #photography #photographygear #cameralens #camera #concertphotography #adobe #lightroom #photoshop #canva #google #apple #canon #canonphotography #canonnordic #photoftheday #photoart 11 Jun 2025 @realblackcoffee & @andmeandyou in šŸ‡¦šŸ‡Ŗ couple days ago✨ thanksā¤ļøā€šŸ”„āš”ļø @wearetrema @highscream 26 Apr 2024 A small recap from the 18 days shooting @eurovision!
