knitting is pretty badass no matter how you approach it. 😎 Recently got asked why people time their knitting and I realized I never stopped to really think about the why. We all craft for different reasons and are motivated by a plethora of things! I knit for “me time”, I knit to feel creative, I knit to feel connected. the yarn is getting out of hand 🫠 i can’t believe i’ve only knit through 1% of my stash. Tbh I’m pretty embarrassed about how out of control my yarn spending had gotten over the years. On manic fueled creative whims, I would purchase skeins and skeins only to lose interest once it arrived. I’ve done really well this year though! With the help of medication and therapy, my mood swings are less and my spending habits are much much better. Every skein I have purchased this year has been put to immediate use. I am proud of the little progress ❤️❤️ Now… time to knit hats, scarves, and socks. 19 Aug 2026
