FRAYED BEAUTY.🌷 For @monsemaison SS27, @Oribe Principal Artist @kienhoang took cues from the collection’s broken tulip motif—delicate, irregular, and imperfect by nature. Kien carried that organic quality into the hair, working with each model’s natural texture to create individualized, lived-in styles that complemented their runway looks. A strict center part brought consistency across the lineup, while Featherbalm Weightless Styler, Gold Lust Dry Heat Protection Spray, Dry Texturizing Spray, and Free Styler Working Hair Spray were used to enhance each texture without overworking it. BRUTALISM AT THE BALLET. 🎀 For @fang.nyc SS27, @Oribe Principal Artist @kienhoang translated the collection’s eco-brutalist tension—nature against structure, whimsy against utility—into two tightly controlled looks. A strict center part became the foundation for satin ribbon corseted through a razor-straight ponytail or woven into a braid and sculpted into a compact chignon. A combination of Maximista Thickening Spray at the roots and Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray through the ends built the structure, while Supershine Smoothing Wax Stick kept the finish impossibly clean. 20 YEARS OF THE BLONDS.✨ For @theblondsny SS27, @Oribe Principal Artist @kienhoang helped celebrate two decades of The Blonds with four distinct hair looks for the anniversary runway. From Jerry Hall-inspired side-swept waves and full Diana Ross volume to cornrows and classic, coiffed men’s styles, the hair complemented a runway filled with more than 50 archival looks from The Blonds’ iconic 20-year history. For the Jerry Hall look, Kien used Maximista Thickening Spray to sweep the hair across the head, a classic barrel curl set to shape the ends, then Superfine Strong Hair Spray and Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray to lock everything in place. NATURE, GONE PUNK.🌺 For @rioworld SS27 “Horizons,” @Oribe Principal Artist @kienhoang drew from Rio Uribe’s return to nature in Mexico, creating sculptural punk looks inspired by the florals and carnivorous plant life that shaped the collection. Rock Hard Gel and Superfine Strong Hair Spray were key for building and locking in the shapes.
