The quest continues for the most try-hard author photo since those fabulous early nineties, wearing nothing but a faux leopard fur and a martini, propped on a barstool type photos they used to brave. The golden age in publishing, indeed! We tried the flash! Turns out neither of our two expensive cameras even have a flash, so these are taken with our tiny vlogger-style Canon. As per usual David votes colour and I am still partial to a classic black and white. Thoughts? 28 Sep 2026
