Everything you need to know about the new 990v7 which just hit stores yesterday. Plus I talked about where I think it ranks in the overall 990 lineage. #style #sneakers #newbalance

Few fits are more timeless than a navy blue suit and a crisp white dress shirt. Throw on a trench coat, a pair of black loafers, and a classically-minded gold watch, and that’s a look that’ll work in any era.
This particular timepiece comes c/o @Movado, which this year is celebrating its 145th (!!!) anniversary. Dubbed the Heritage Tempo-Matic, it was inspired by the label’s mid-century watches and the shape of its TV-shaped, integrated bracelet styles of the 1970s.
In addition to wearing the Tempo-Matic around NYC in my daily life, I also stopped by the brand’s exhibition at the Horological Society of New York, where you can see the brand’s innovations and iconic timepieces on display. (Including some of my all-time favorites.) It’s open to the public from now until June 2027! #Ad #Movado #AlwaysinMotion

It’s rare these days that a leather goods company makes things in New York, but that’s exactly the case with @ghurka and its Cavalier II No. 97 duffel bag. In this video, I visited Park Ave International—a factory that’s been making premium bags and other leather accessories for over 40 years—to get a tour and see the love that goes into the process.

I’m in my hotel room typing out this caption to about Polo Fest, but the right words are hard to find—at least ones that would adequately capture how special an event—and a week—this has been.
I’m by no means one of a kind when I say that Ralph Lauren was the most important brand to me in terms of introducing me to clothing and shaping my understanding of it. There’s a quote inside Polo Fest on the wall from Ralph that reads: “I don’t design clothes, I create worlds.” It was these worlds that made me realize clothes weren’t just necessities, but vehicles for expression, storytelling, and community. And it’s that community, many people of which were here this week, that way back when made this menswear stuff feel like a spiritual home that I’m still proud to be a part of today. Frankly, to be here with the brand itself and considered an authority on it is nothing short of a pinch-me moment, and an honor.
This is before we even talk about Tokyo itself, which for as long as I’ve cared about clothes has represented the epicenter of taste and cool. To say it’s exceeded my expectations would be overstating my expectations. Whatever I thought to find in terms of passion, artistry, and intentionality here was truly nothing compared to what I found. I love Tokyo!!!
Ultimately, Polo Fest has for me and so many others who hold Ralph in the highest regard made dreams come true. (See: Tyson Beckford wearing my jacket, 30+ years after he wore the jacket in an ad.) It’s also frankly nothing short of a masterpiece of brand building, and something I genuinely don’t think any other brand on earth could even attempt to pull off. Like, other label—ever—has touched this many iconic areas of style and executed them as an unmatched level? And done it for this long? Being here makes you realize that when it comes to impact, design, and cultural relevance, over the last nearly 60 years there’s Ralph, and everyone else.
How can you not be romantic about clothes? From the bottom of my heart, thank you @poloralphlauren and to everyone who made this week possible. I’ll cherish these memories for the rest of my life.

Ralph Lauren is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Japan, and to do such today kicked off Polo Fest—a multi day event that is part brand retrospective and part vintage Polo shopping Mecca. It’s genuinely unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, and for a Ralph Lauren superfan like me, represents a beautiful homage to all of the people—both inside and outside of the brand—who’ve made Ralph the all time GOAT it is today.
Without further ado, here’s your first look inside #PoloFest

The jacket I’m wearing is one of the coolest pieces you can buy in 2026, but its story begins all the way back in 1982 with a humble piece of tarpaulin fabric. Here, I’m breaking down the story of @stoneisland’s iconic Tela Stella fabric, which has been revised and rendered in a new style as part of the legendary label’s new “No Seasons” collection. BTW if you want this jacket (or any of the 6 from the No Seasons collection) check your local Stone Island flagship or their website on October 19

Earlier this year, @wythenewyork did something few brands ever do unless they legally have to—they gave all of their customers who purchased a coat $100 back.
This was in the wake of Trump’s tariffs being deemed illegal, which previously had forced Wythe to raise the price of their awesome coats by $100, despite not adding any value to the product or making any more $$$ off them.
A lot of companies out there basically just pocketed the money because that’s capitalism baby—but Wythe did the very cool thing of returning the cash to the people who had given it to them.
That’s one reason supporting small brands who do things the right way is awesome. If you wanna learn more about these coats, check the full video on YouTube!

Still wary of wearing jewelry? Don’t be. Here I visited one of the best purveyor of bracelets necklaces and more in Miami, @bluscarpa to get a peek into how the label brings its eye catching accessories to life.
The bracelet I’m wearing is also available right now at bluscarpa.com as part of the Jake Woolf Collezione

A project nearly a year in the making.
About a year ago, I was at Alfargo’s when came across a fleece jacket from a Boston-based brand I didn’t know much about called @markthetailor. I loved that thing, but I’m lazy, and pullovers I’ve found are *just* annoying enough to put on that it prevents me from wearing them as often as I could. So I asked the owners—who turned out to be, like me, born and raised in New England—if they wanted to do a full zip version. I was pleasantly surprised when they agreed, and as such, Jake Woolf for Mark The Tailor was born.
That’s when the real work started, which to give credit where it’s very much due, meant Adam and Lindsay took on the immense task of bringing this idea to life. We saw a first sample last December, but that was just a jumping off point. We spent the next few months tweaking the fit and finish, considering every last detail to make what we genuinely want to be the best fleece jacket ever. I’m biased, but I think we got as close as one could hope.
The resulting jacket is made from 100% merino wool (where my natty fiber heads at???), and not just any merino wool, but one sourced from @american_woolen in Connecticut. We used Riri zippers for the front and pockets, then accented the jacket with Italian leather trim. To make the whole thing feel just a little more luxurious, we lined the jacket in Japanese Bemberg fabric, which makes it feel like a beautiful overcoat or piece of high end tailoring.
We haven’t sold a single jacket yet (it just launched one minute ago), but I just wanna say I already feel incredibly gratified by this project and the process. It feels good to work with good people making good products—not because it’s easy, cost effective, or wealth-creating—but simply because it’s the way things should be done.
I love this jacket and hope you do, too.
Enormous thank you to @adambomark @lindsay__mark for making this happen, and to @shopandson for hosting an awesome get together last night!

Fall is fleece jacket season! But here are 5 reasons my favorite fall fleece isn’t your average deep pile jacket

I wanted a great fleece for fall—but rather than hit stores for one, I reached out to a great Boston-based label called Mark The Tailor to make one from the ground up
Here’s how it turned out (very good)
Available October 8, party in SoHo October 7
