Incredibly saddened to hear the news that “Sei Gor” (Mr. Patrick Tse) had passed away. We’ve known each other for so long…. When I was still a stuntman, he was already a big star. He always looked after me on the set, and we went through so many things together. Thinking back at it now, all unforgettable memories. Just as his son, Nic, said: his forever elegant and charming character will always remain in our hearts. 🙏🏻 RIP

It is with great shock to hear the news of Nansun Shi’s passing. The film industry has lost another legendary figure. I’m sure that no matter when we look back at her outstanding achievements, everyone will remember the spirit and integrity of this person behind those classic works. Big sister Nansun, rest in peace. We pay our deepest respects to you and will remember you forever. 🙏🏻

I’ve spent my life in front of cameras. No stunt doubles. Real action. No shortcuts. I built my whole career on one simple belief: if it’s real, people feel it.
But the truth is, some of the most unbelievable scenes I’ve ever seen were not on a movie set. In China, you don’t need green screens or filters to be amazed. The things that look unreal to the rest of the world—they are simply part of everyday life here.
As Global Ambassador for China Travel with @trip @TripcomGroup, I want to invite you. If you’ve only seen China on screen, I hope one day you’ll come and see it with your own eyes.

Looking at these old photos, I can still feel it — the exhaustion, the excitement, the youth I left on those sets somewhere in China.
Over the years, no matter where I go, my friends around the world warmly call me “Jackie.” It was the movies that gave me that name — that gave me the chance to share stories across borders and take me out into the world.
But the further I went, the more I found myself thinking about where it all began.
It was China that made me.
Long before “Jackie Chan” existed, this land had already shaped who I would become. Kindness. Perseverance. Sincerity. Every time I come back, the same feeling is always there. I’ve seen this place change and grow, but some things never change — the warmth between people, a culture that never fades, and the stories hidden in its mountains and rivers.
People say my movies brought China to the world. But the truth is — China gave me the stories first.
When I started out, I carried three wishes: for Chinese cinema, for Chinese filmmakers, for the next generation. Today, I carry a fourth — I want the world to come and see this place that I love.
I’m thrilled to join @trip @TripcomGroup as Global Ambassador for China Travel. Together, we’re sharing the incredible China with the world. Come walk these streets, take it all in — and discover a China that feels almost unreal, yet is wonderfully real.

I just received news from Han Ken, the producer of “The Shadows Edge”. She told me that Su Hang just won Best Action Choreography at the Hong Kong Film Awards I’m honestly so happy! And I’m also happy for the director, Larry Yang Zi, and all the cast and crew of the production team! Su Hang is one of the youngest members in the JC Stunt Team. He and Lu Shi-Jia, Li Lei, Wang Zhen-Wei first took part in our production with “The Karate Kid”. Back then, they were only teenagers and wanted to join my JC Stunt Team. I said to them, after you’ve grown up finished your education, you can come and look for me. Su Hang, Jia Jia, and Li Lei are members of the 7th generation JC Stunt Team, and now they’re all distinguished stunt coordinators. Siu Wei is also an outstanding actor. I’m so pleased with their accomplishments, and honestly very happy for them. I feel so proud of them, and I’m also proud of the JC Stunt Team.
剛剛聽到《捕風追影》製片人韓肯告訴我，蘇杭憑借這部電影拿到了今年香港電影金像獎最佳動作設計獎，我真的太開心了！也為楊子導演和這部電影台前幕後的所有主演主創感到開心！蘇杭是成家班當中非常年輕一代的代表，他和呂世佳、李磊、王振威都是在拍攝《功夫夢》時進入我們的劇組，那時候他們都是十幾歲的小朋友，當時他們就說要加入成家班，我說你們要先完成學業，長大後再來找我。後來他們果然信守了承諾，跟我一起在片場摸爬滾打多年，蘇杭、佳佳、李磊三個人作為成家班第七代成員，都成為了優秀的動作指導，小威則在演員的道路上表現優秀。看到他們的成績，我感到由衷的喜悅和欣慰，為你們驕傲，為成家班驕傲！

Many years ago, while shooting with Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao in Europe, I remember a guy who taught us many things. His stories were very fresh and inspiring for us youngsters. He told us that he already knew how to enjoy life when he was very young because from his point of view, enjoying life is the true way to cherish life. He always took us out for a good time; taught us wine tasting and collecting valuable items; and also taught us many ideas about filmmaking. That’s why I have full respect for him as my “half-master”. His name is Chua Lam (I usually call him Chua-san).
I was on the set when I heard the news my “half-master” had passed away. The first thing that surfaced in my mind were the times we filmed together overseas. Back then, he taught me many meaningful lessons, and it wasn’t until later in life that I started to slowly understand. I recall him saying how our time on earth is about learning how to live, how to die, and how to survive. And the most important thing in life depends on whether you’re happy or not. I know that he lived a free-spirited and joyful life, which is most important.
Chua-san once said, “People eventually leave in life. You can miss them, but don’t miss them too much.” I would like to say to him, rest in peace. Just like many other people around the world, I will always miss you.
