I’m Directing TDE’s HBCU Tour for BET and this project is EXTRA special to me because if you know me, you know I live by “Each One Reach One, Each One Teach One!” HBCU culture is truly undefeated and in some ways this is a full circle moment for me. I lost my scholarship to Howard and ended up going to Univ of SC instead, but OF COURSE I still ended up on Howard’s campus with my camera all the time 🤣🤷🏾‍♂️ so much so that the school posted me as an alumni on instagram 🤣🤣 Truthfully though, I was once a BTS videographer, but I had vision and trusted the process! MOST importantly I trusted GOD’s word and never gave up on my dream to be a filmmaker! Through it all, GOD has never left my side and has truly been my anchor to survive those tough years of dream chasing!
