SupplySide Global was in Las Vegas this week, and I always enjoy exploring the side of our industry most people never get to see.
After 11 years as a retailer and manufacturer, so many of my conversations with raw material suppliers still happen over the phone. Getting together in person, asking questions, and seeing what’s next brings a different energy.
This event brings together suppliers and manufacturers from around the world, including the companies behind the ingredients in your favorite gummies, supplements, and more. They supply the raw materials, and manufacturers like us turn those ingredients into finished, packaged products.
One thing surprised me: I didn’t come across any dedicated raw material peptide companies. A few booths said they were starting to explore the space, which was an interesting reminder that even with all the excitement, parts of this industry are still taking shape.
That’s what makes these conversations so valuable. There’s always something new to discover, another question to ask, and a possibility you hadn’t considered.
I left with plenty of ideas and even more curiosity about what’s ahead for our industry and what we’re building at @MeduraHealth.

IT’S OFFICIAL. 🚀
Lease signed for the first-ever @MeduraHealth store in Las Vegas.
After having 5 retail stores for one of my businesses and shutting them all down during the plandemic, I told myself I would never open another store again.
That was then. Times have changed.
I’m stepping back into retail with a completely new vision.
Medura Health is a modern health and wellness store focused on labs, telehealth, vitamins, supplements, herbs, autism support, peptide therapy, and other products designed to support a healthier lifestyle.
We’re bringing the Medura Health brand offline while continuing to build online.
The first Medura Health store starts here.
I’m back in motion.

There aren’t many people I’ve known for as long as I’ve known @danfleyshman, and even fewer I can say I still have the exact same respect for today that I had the first day I met them 18 years ago.
I still remember when I didn’t even know Dan and he sent me an influencer package for Who’s Your Daddy energy drink. That small gesture ended up being the beginning of a friendship that would last nearly two decades.
Over the years, Dan has consistently shown up as a real friend. He’s made introductions, publicly promoted my wins, opened doors, put me on stages, connected me with people, and helped me in ways that have had a real impact.
And the thing that has always stood out to me is that he never did any of it looking for something in return.
18 years later, the respect is still there. That says a lot about the kind of person he is.
Some people come into your life for a season. Others become part of the story. Dan has been part of mine for a long time, and I’m grateful for that.

Autism has no boundaries. 🧩
I’ve learned that being an autism dad means sometimes looking at the world a little differently. There are things I worry about, things I never know how they’ll handle, and moments where I wonder what their future will look like.
But then we go out, make memories, explore new places, and I’m reminded that their world doesn’t have to be small.
These are the moments I’ll hold onto forever. Me and my kids, standing in front of the Las Vegas sign, making memories and proving that autism doesn’t put a limit on where we can go.
Our journey may look different, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. ♾️

Teaching my son how to swim is about much more than learning how to swim.
For autistic children, learning new skills can take patience, repetition, trust, and a lot more time. But that doesn’t mean they can’t learn. It means we have to meet them where they are and give them the time and support they need.
Water safety is especially important for autistic children. Drowning is a serious safety risk, and teaching them to be comfortable and capable around water can be life-changing.
As parents, we have to keep showing up. Keep teaching. Keep practicing. Keep believing in them, even when progress doesn’t look the way we expected.
Every milestone matters.

My son Elohn is 5 years old, nonverbal, and Level 3 autistic. There are only three levels of autism.
This morning, he woke me up at 8 a.m. by coming into my room with his iPad playing a cartoon that was singing, “Good morning, I’m going to school now. Goodbye,” before he left for therapy.
Knowing what I know now, I don’t think I could ever put him in a traditional school environment.
His iPad is how my son communicates with me. I’m incredibly grateful that he has that ability, but every day, I still pray that someday I’ll get to hear him say those words himself.

Real bosses don’t compete with others. They compete with the person they were yesterday.
