There’s something so powerful about people coming together to build hope 🤎 On our spring break trip in March, many trip participants helped build bathrooms in CDP. Despite the heat, hard work, and heavy loads, there were SO many smiles, laughs, & meaningful moments along the way. This is what building hope looks like, and community in action – people serving side by side, building relationships, and stepping into something bigger than themselves. Every conversation, every act of service, and every relationship built matters!! We’re so grateful to be part of what God is doing in Honduras alongside so many incredible people. UNITED TO FIGHT BREAST CANCER! Yesterday, the community of La Coroza came together for a special soccer match: La Coroza vs. Humanity & Hope! And while H&H took home the win 🏆, the real victory was coming together for a cause bigger than the game! Our H&H Health Pillar team led an interactive presentation on breast cancer awareness, sharing important information about prevention, early detection, and the importance of taking care of our health. We are so thankful for opportunities like these to bring our communities together, build relationships, and equip families with knowledge that can save lives! Together, we are stronger. A new year of opportunities! This past Saturday, we celebrated the signing of 141 education contracts across our five partner communities, including 21 students beginning their secondary education journey! 🎉 Our Education and Health teams came together at Casa de la Cultura to prepare student profiles, take photos, size school T-shirts, sign contracts, and create health records- all to ensure each student has the support they need to thrive. What’s next? We’re looking for 21 sponsors to help make secondary education possible for these students in 2027! Education opens doors, creates opportunities, and equips students to step into their God-given potential. We can’t wait to see what this next year holds! ❤️ 04 Nov 2026

Some of the sweetest friendships begin by working side by side 🤍 On an H&H trip, you have the opportunity to join community members in their daily work—whether that’s helping with construction, harvesting pineapples, working in the chicken coops, or chopping grass for cattle feed. As we work together, we get to learn from one another, share stories, laugh, and get a glimpse into someone else’s everyday life. What starts as a shared project becomes an opportunity for connection and friendship. We’d love for you to experience it with us! At Humanity & Hope United, being a listener is one of our core values. During last week’s staff meeting, our staff member Patti shared about generational legacy and the importance of sowing into the lives of others. She reminded us that we are called to be people who truly listen, intentionally invest in others, and live in a way that inspires those around us to follow. The way we live matters. The example we set can plant seeds that continue to grow long after we have moved on. And as we seek to build hope in the lives of others, we look to Jesus as our greatest example of a faithful listener, teacher, and servant. There is something special about gathering together in God’s Word. 🤍 Last week, students at the learning center in El Progreso spent devotional time with Levi, growing in their understanding of who God is and the hope found in Him. At Humanity & Hope United, we believe building hope goes beyond meeting physical needs — it’s also about nurturing hearts, growing in faith, and reminding the next generation that they are deeply loved by God. Hope is built when women gather, hearts are encouraged, and the love of God is made known. Last week, women in La Coroza gathered for a special time of worship, teaching on inner healing, and fellowship over refreshments. As they came together, God ministered to their hearts and reminded us of the beauty of creating spaces where women can be seen, encouraged, and pointed toward the hope found in Him.
