The story of one pie 🥧🍒 Tellll me what how do you like it? *the biggest challenge was to find frozen cherries 01 Nov 2025 I’ve always felt connected to Halloween - but in my own way. When I discovered Samhain, something just clicked. I love the witchy, mysterious energy of this festival marking the end of the harvest season. 🪾🍂🪵 I actually spent two full days making these masks (the second post is coming) and I’m so excited to share results with you! Let me know what do you think about this one 👀 #halloweenideas #samhainritual #maskideas 27 Oct 2025 you can find me over the garden wall, it’s quiet and cozy here. wearing tacit by @aesop - clean, green, a little nostalgic. 🍃 #aesop #otgw 30 Jul 2026 Sunny happy Friday’s randoms 🙇🏻‍♂️✨ 06 Nov 2026 I’m quite particular about how my home feels at the end of the day. I like the lights low, something warm to drink, a bit of music in the background and nowhere in particular to be. The @ajen.care diffuser has quietly become part of that atmosphere. Nothing complicated, just one more detail that makes coming home feel good. 05 Nov 2026 I don’t know what I would do if someone told me I’d be dead and buried within three years. Fernando Higueras decided to build himself a house. I find the whole thing rather brilliant. There’s a certain kind of mind that can take something completely unexpected and turn it into an idea that nobody else would have thought of. I suppose that’s what makes some architects so interesting: you start looking at their buildings, and end up wanting to know more about the people behind them. 04 Nov 2026 Fernando Higueras called it Rascainfiernos — quite literally, the opposite of a skyscraper. Built in Madrid in 1972, this underground house and studio was his own answer to what a home could be. Rather than building upwards, he excavated a 9 × 9 metre square into the garden, creating a two-level concrete retreat, almost entirely hidden beneath the ground. There are no conventional windows. Instead, five skylights bring daylight down through the building, illuminating a central double-height space around which the rooms unfold. Higueras had a particular interest in vernacular architecture and the intelligence of traditional ways of building. Here, the idea of the cave becomes something rather sophisticated: a home shaped by the earth, with light doing much of the architectural work. He lived and worked here until his death in 2008. Today, it houses the Fundación Fernando Higueras, preserving the work and legacy of one of Spain’s most distinctive architects. A rather good reminder that architecture doesn’t always need to reach for the sky. 03 Nov 2026 Strange sightings. #ShotoniPhone by… 1. Rashid S. @rashid_bin__ 2. Parker B. @parkerbeattty 3,5. A little celebration of the end of the harvest season, with pumpkins, corn, sunflowers and a scarecrow watching over the whole thing. A few details from our Halloween evening at home. Swipe through to see the scarecrow coming together — he deserves his own moment. 🍂 how should we call him? 01 Nov 2026 I finally got around to making that sunflower arrangement I mentioned in one of my previous videos. What do we think about it? A little late-season colour for the house, while the afternoons are still warm and Halloween preparations are slowly taking over. I always love this part of October - making the most of the last warm days, spending time outside, exploring without much of a plan, and noticing the objects, textures and little details that might otherwise go unnoticed. There’s so much inspiration in simply paying attention to what’s around you, and I like bringing a little of that feeling back home. Slowly settling into the darker, cosier side of the season. 🍂 28 Oct 2026 I like finding beauty in the things that usually go unnoticed, or that we tend to tuck away out of sight. Cords, switches, everyday essentials. To me, they don’t always need to disappear into the background. Sometimes, finding a well-designed version and letting it be seen can add another layer of detail to a space. That’s one of the reasons I like @avoltofficial The Square 1 turns something as functional as a power outlet into a detail I’m happy to leave in plain sight, and their new lamp brings that same thoughtfulness to lighting. I like how they can become part of the visual language of a room, rather than something to work around. A reminder that even the most ordinary details deserve a little thought. 29 Oct 2026 Autumn lunches are a good excuse to slow down a little and make something comforting. Setting the table with @potteryjo pieces, pouring a bowl of roasted pumpkin cream, and adding something fresh on the side. This is a simple way to make the most of autumn vegetables: roast everything together in a cocotte, then blend until smooth. Roasted pumpkin cream Ingredients * 700 g pumpkin, peeled and cubed * 200 g potato, peeled and cubed * 200 g zucchini, chopped * 150 g carrots, chopped * 150 g onion, roughly chopped * 3 garlic cloves * 25 g olive oil * 500–700 ml vegetable stock * Salt and black pepper Method 1. Preheat the oven to 190°C fan. 2. Place the vegetables and garlic in a cocotte. Add olive oil, salt and pepper, and toss to coat. 3. Cover and roast for 30 minutes, then uncover for another 10–15 minutes, until soft and lightly caramelised. 4. Blend until smooth, gradually adding hot vegetable stock until you reach your preferred consistency. 5. Taste, adjust the seasoning, and serve warm. Save this for a cosy autumn lunch. 🍂 27 Oct 2026
