Hello guys. Me and the Latin mafia brothers have been working on music for many moons now. They are makin some of my favourite music in the world right now. It’s so beautiful but surprising but contained but adventurous.
Its a joy to link wit these guys always. Theyre 3 brothers and I make music wit my lil brother as well so its jus 5 brothers every time we get together. And we’re both managed by our siblings too! So yeah proper family affair
we been working on ideas for the last couple years together on and off. It was mad how quickly everything we made felt like it was naturally part of the same world, like sometimes I find I have to really work hard to make things feel like a contained universe, but in this case everything that came out just naturally felt like one thing to us all.
So we wanna put it all out as one project.
we’ve decided to get together in their home of Mexico City to finish it all.

I really adore the things that naturally happen when me and LATIN MAFIA make stuff together. So right before the last show in Mexico City we recorded this one take of some of the songs we been working on under the fabric. The fabric in this context is maybe my favourite of any way we got to play with it.
Also big shoutout to @jaimeackroyd for shooting a totally magical one shot for 30 minutes with no rehearsal or anything. I really adore the way this feels.
We’re gonna finish it all this week butttt wanted to show you this first. More tomorrow. But this is on to YouTube.

It’s happening
Finallyyyyy
All live shows
Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru
Haven’t had this many messages from a place since we first toured Australia! We are beyond excited to come.
we are able to offer tickets for ₹1,750 and ₹3,500 (about 18 dollars and 37 dollars). we really wanted to make that price possible whilst also bringing our full live show to a place we never been before.
I am VERY happy about this because I desperately want anyone who would like to come to be able to come.

We’ve uploaded a 108 hour video (4 days?!) to youtube of every set from every show from usb002. It took us ages to work out how to do this. Im told this is the longest video on YouTube ever? I really just wanted to document the insane experience of getting to play b2b wit this amazing list of ppl. A truly insane list of humans.
To everyone who came to every show, I increasingly learn that you make them what they are more than we do.
Thank you forever and bye for now. Im going to write some music.

So I had a dream last week,
And basically all it was, is I was 80, sat in a like a care home, and I kept saying to the nurses “jus play it again pls”
And I was just sat there watching the usb show with Thomas over and over again 😂😂😂😂
And then I sat there being like ‘look that’s me! I’m there!’
I usually have a rule that I don’t watch anything back, I just do the thing, and then try to stay present and just sorta keep working on writing music, like I’ve still never watched our Glastonbury set. Or most things tbh, but yeah with this, I justtttt. Can’t. Stop.
Probably because a lot of it isn’t my music, so it’s not subject to my usual very critical inner voice about stuff. Instead I’m just a fan more proud of a sort of human moment than anything else.
Now I know in a way it sounds kinda morbid in some ways
Buttt lemme tell you, one thing was very clear when I woke up.
It was not a nightmare, it was definitely a dream.
Eternally grateful ❤️ @thomasbangalter @albertsandgothmaan

I’ve kinda always wanted to hear jme over this beat. I didn’t say to the guys I was gonna play it or anything so when the tune started I turned around to see if he was still there, n he was in the corner of the booth so I just passed him my mic and was like ummm 🤷♂️
there was this moment with all of us sort of simultaneously realising as he was about to say it, that the last line of his bars was about to be “the music originated and will always remain in the streets” whilst looking directly at mike. jussttt…………..
Shoutout the guys @overmono on the remix of course too

this weekend we got to play with the absolute pillars of UK music.
it was the merging of so many of the most important parts of UK music it was just an honour to get to stand there and witness it and be one part of it.
after soundcheck tony came up to me and was like
“well that was my favourite soundcheck ever, JME and d double walked off and underworld and mike skinner walked on WHAT EVEN IS THAT”
and yeah i was so busy and stressed about tryna make it all work and fixing mixes i didnt totally clock how mental the SOUNDCHECK was!!! let alone the show….
i said on the night and i will sayyyy it again, that that room, and the way it felt, was standing on the shoulders of the things built by underworld, the streets, jme and so on
thank u infinity to:
underworld, mike skinner, romy, jme, d double e, berwyn, femi, ezra collective, ca7riel & paco, headie one, jamie t, blanco, joy anonymous, mph, nia archives, hamdi, oppidan ❤️
