After 6+ years, 300+ episodes, and countless hours, we can’t even believe we’re saying this… WE ARE FINALLY HERE AT HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS AS PART OF MEDIA COVERAGE! To some, this may not seem like a huge deal, but to us, it is an incredible honor to be selected to cover this event for you all on behalf of Universal. I genuinely can’t put into words just how much this acknowledgment means to us. This was truly a pipe dream. Not necessarily an end goal, but a goal nonetheless. What started as a passion project with Shamus and myself recording episodes for fun on a dresser in my bedroom has somehow grown into what it is today. And honestly… that is still hard to wrap our heads around. Every year we would think, ā€œMaybe this will be the year.ā€ Until finally… this was the year. We got the formal invite, and we owe it all to you. The Fear and Beer Fam! Every person who has ever listened to an episode, attended one of our events, shared an episode with a friend, bought some merch, commented, liked, followed, or simply told someone about Fear and Beer - THANK YOU! If it weren’t for you all being behind us every step of the way, we wouldn’t have any of this. No platform to host crazy events like Family Feud.
No beer collaborations with local breweries.
No 300+ episodes.
And certainly no opportunity to walk through the gates of Halloween Horror Nights as media. You’ve allowed us to turn something we started for fun into something we never could have imagined. So as we head into HHN35, we’re going to soak up every single second of this. We’re going to film. We’re going to take pictures. We’re going to drink some beers. We’re going to make some memories. And most importantly, we’re going to bring you all along with us. Thank you so much once again to Universal Orlando for inviting us to take part in this amazing event! From a dresser in a bedroom in 2020 to Halloween Horror Nights Media in 2026. šŸ–¤ Nick Shamus and Jamie @universalorlando @HorrorNightsORL #HHN35 #halloweenhorrornights 28 Aug 2026 Thankfully, we were paired up with some professional dancers and we convinced Shamus to floss in the Fortnitemares zone. How did we do? Thank you so much once again to Universal Orlando for inviting us to take part in this amazing event! @universalorlando @HorrorNightsORL #HHN35 #halloweenhorrornights 28 Aug 2026 Extremely late post, but whatever. I really don’t know how to sum up tonight in just words but what a way to kick off @horrornightsorl ! Thank you all so so much! To everyone who helped, filmed, ran A/V, participated, watched, donated, bought merch from our lovely vendors (sorry I didn’t snag a picture 🫠) @murderonmain @doa_co_ and @mementomortys or simply shared a post it all means the absolute world to us! What started out as super out there idea turned into what may just have to be a yearly tradition! Seeing friends and faces from all over travel down to watch a silly show with all our friends allows us to keep being creative and throw more fun things like this! None of which is possible to do without YOU! Everything went about as smooth as smooth can be and the reception was off the charts! We can’t wait to see you all in the fog THIS WEEKEND!! šŸ–¤šŸ–¤šŸ–¤ 26 Aug 2026 After recording our episode the other day, it really hit me that @horrornightsorl is officially over. There were SOOOOO many memories made this year that I couldn’t possibly fit them all into one post. From getting a circus themed HHN ticket before MegaCon, hosting our biggest ever 100 Days Until HHN Trivia event in May, putting on Family Feud to properly kick off the season, and finally getting invited to Media Nights, to scrambling to record nearly 13 HOURS of episodes for the Podathon. And that was all BEFORE the event even started. Once the fog rolled in, it was go time. Spending countless (31, to be exact) nights at the event meant getting to make memories with some of my favorite people. Some I’ve known for years, others I was meeting for the very first time. I got to experience 2 Private RIP Tours, one thanks to Brad and his wonderful family, and another with some of my closest friends to celebrate my birthday. From all the nights in Club Horror, which were often paired with a Frostbite (or five), to the countless runs through H.R. Bloodengutz, there was never a shortage of memories being made. This was a HUGE year of firsts for us. After six years of doing this, it somehow feels like we’re just getting started. I’m incredibly grateful for everything this season brought, the people who made it special, and the opportunities we never thought we’d have. Thank you, HHN35. You were one hell of a ride. #hhn #halloweenhorrornights #hhn35 07 Nov 2026 Stranger Things Day feels a little different this year, especially after HHN35 gave us what felt like the perfect sendoff to a franchise that has meant so much to so many of us. From the music, the characters and the unforgettable moments to walking through the streets of Hawkins one last time at @horrornightsorl it was a reminder of just how special this show has become. Friends don’t lie. And we’ll never forget this one. Thank you, Stranger Things. šŸ–¤ šŸ§‡ #hhn #strangerthings 06 Nov 2026 🚨 NEW EPISODE 🚨 What was originally going to be a single episode quickly turned into something that deserved a two part breakdown! We had initially planned to cover the Houses and Final Rankings as well, but we didn’t want to rush through some of the most impactful moments of this year’s event without giving them the time and attention they deserved. That doesn’t mean we left anything out, though! We dive deep into our experiences this year and cover it all. What could have been better? What absolutely knocked it out of the park? What food kept us coming back for more? What merch did we pick up? And did the streets hit as hard as we expected? All of those questions get answered! We’ll be back very soon with Part 2, where we’ll finally give the Houses their time in the spotlight and share our Final Rankings. The HHN35 recap isn’t over just yet! 06 Nov 2026 It’s Wednesday. What do you mean there’s no @horrornightsorl ?! #hhn #halloweenhorrornights #hhn35 04 Nov 2026 HHN35 A time of the year that seemingly takes forever to come back around only to vanish before we know it. This year will forever hold a special place in my heart. For the first time ever we were invited to take part in media coverage for an event we’ve loved for years. Something I genuinely never thought would happen. The fog has settled, the props have come down, and the lights have been turned off one last time. 31 nights, 183 house runs, and countless memories. This one is for the history books. As the curtain closes, a few standing ovations are deserved. To the Creatives, Art, Decor, Lighting, Makeup & Costuming Teams Thank you for turning ideas into immersive worlds. You’re the ringmasters and master illusionists who make the magic happen behind the curtain. To the Scare Actors You’re the heart of this event. The headlining acts who bring these characters to life and make every night unforgettable. Without you, the show simply wouldn’t go on. To the Food & Beverage Crews Thank you for keeping the midway alive, the crowds fueled, and the drinks flowing. From countless Smash Tacos to the infamous Frost Bite, you made so many nights better. To Security & Medical You’re the guardians of the big top, keeping everyone safe and making sure the spectacle can continue night after night. To our Fear and Beer Fam Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or just found us this year, thank you. Every conversation, picture, friendship, listen, and merch purchase means more than you know. You’re the audience that fills the tent, and we’d be nothing without you. HHN35, you were something special. I’ll never forget the experiences, friendships, laughs, scares, and the opportunity to be a little more involved in something that has meant so much to me for years. The event may be closed, but the memories aren’t going anywhere. Until next time, thank you for letting us be part of the show. We’ll see you when the lights come back on. 03 Nov 2026 A much more long winded and heartfelt send off is coming shortly once I’ve had a chance to collect my thoughts on what was an absolutely incredible season. There’s so much to reflect on, so many memories to look back on, and so many people to thank. I’m not quite ready how to put it all into words just yet. But in the meantime… Rest. šŸ–¤šŸŽƒ 02 Nov 2026 HHN is over. Sorry. Krampus here we come. #hhn #halloweenhorrornights #hhn35 01 Nov 2026 Night 31. Closing night. Rain per usual. Let’s go. 01 Nov 2026 Not only are there multiple clues that are VERY heavily suggesting The Director’s involvement next year in Jack and Oddfellow: Chaos and Control we also noticed this new addition in Boris’s office. šŸ‘€ šŸŽ„ 01 Nov 2026
