A New Chapter for YUNG. We’re proud to announce the appointment of @farahland as YUNG’s Editor in Chief. As Farah takes on editorial leadership, Founder and CEO @sandrayeghiazarian will focus on YUNG’s next phase of growth and expansion, including new divisions and strategic partnerships. Farah brings more than two decades of experience across publishing, fashion and luxury in the Middle East, combining deep regional knowledge with an international editorial perspective. “I’m incredibly excited to join YUNG and begin this next chapter. What excites me most is the opportunity to lead a homegrown, independent UAE title at a moment when the creative voice of this region has never felt more relevant globally,” says Farah Kreidieh. “This is a very important moment for YUNG, and for me personally. My dear Aboudi, It’s been more than a year since you left on February 25, 2025… and I still don’t know how to put into words what you meant to me. You were my brother, my confidant, my safe place the one who believed in me, pushed me, and quietly guided so many of my choices. In 2024, you inspired me to pursue a Master’s degree in Journalism at the École Supérieure de Journalisme, because you always wanted more for me. You believed deeply in education in becoming the best version of myself. This year, I studied every night, balancing work, travel, events, and family. I was holding everything at once. I couldn’t have done it without the patience, love, and support of my husband Walid, my sons Karim and Zeyd, my brother Amer and my parents, who stood by me through everything. And then… you left. Right in the middle of it all. Everything became heavier. Quieter. Nothing felt the same. You were no longer there beside me. There were days I couldn’t get out of bed. Days I didn’t understand how to keep going. But I did… for you. Today, I graduated with honors. And now I see it clearly the most beautiful gift you gave me was education… and the strength to keep going. This video is dedicated to you, created with the help of my friend Elie Fahed.
