The employees of the @somerville_theatre recently purchased the building that houses the theater to ensure it remains the wonderful venues and movie theater it’s been for decades to come. They’ve started a GoFundMe to help raise money to pay off some of that debt. Help them if you can or if you enjoy the theater. I’ve done many shows there over the years, recorded my latest special, Here Comes The Whimsy, at the attached Crystal Ballroom, and screened the documentary, It Started As A Joke, about our silly comedy festival and my late wife. It’s a special theater and venue that I hope stays open long enough for our robot overlords to eventually enjoy.
