The best aesthetic outcomes aren’t always about what you notice. Sometimes, they’re about what you don’t.
Facial balancing isn’t about adding volume everywhere. It’s about understanding anatomy, identifying where support has been lost, and knowing exactly where subtle refinement can make a meaningful difference.
For this patient, my approach focused on three key areas:
✦ Temples: Restoring volume and convexity to create a smoother, more harmonious upper facial contour.
✦ Piriform region: Reestablishing structural support beside the nasal base to soften the appearance of the upper smile lines.
✦ Lips: Thoughtful augmentation, particularly of the lower lip, to enhance proportion and definition while preserving natural masculine features.
Three treatment areas. One cohesive approach.
Because the goal was never to make him look different. It was to refine what was already there.

What a great day with AmSpa in Dallas! 🙌
One of my favorite things to do is help aesthetic practices grow. I truly believe that we are collaborators, not competitors. When we share ideas, strategies, and lessons learned, our entire industry gets better.

Experience is just a nicer word for:
“I made mistakes, paid the price, and learned from them.”
That’s why I always encourage medical aesthetic clinic owners to do their homework before investing in business coaching or consulting. There are a lot of people out there teaching who have never actually done the work themselves, and that’s something worth paying attention to. Learn from people who have worked in a clinic and, more importantly, built one.
It’s kind of like getting marriage advice from a priest. They may know the theory… but they’ve never had to sleep on the couch. 😅
I’ve been fortunate to build three thriving clinics, and every strategy I teach comes from real-life experience—not a textbook. The successes, the setbacks, the tough decisions, and yes, the mistakes have shaped how I lead today.
