Have you ever seen one of these? The @bmw E9 CSL racing coupe is one of the rarest and most iconic for @bmwm & @bmwclassic . Even though it doesn’t carry the “M” logo, to some it is still considered to be the first M car produced. This is the car that started it all for @bmw and all of us that love @bmwmmotorsport . We’ve been taught to respect our elders, so let’s give a nod to the original original! @eagbmw and I were lucky enough to display this iconic Nurburgring winning CSL at our annual open house and it didn’t disappoint. This car came out better than I could have ever imagined. We are now living in a time where these cars may not be worth much, but it's still worth saving them just from the sentimental value alone. The E36 M3 has always had a special place in my heart as it was the first sporty car I've ever ridden in as a little kid. I still remember like it was yesterday. It felt like a rocket ship. The real flex is getting all brand new carbon fiber body parts from @alpha_n_performance, but then immediately painting over it 😂🤣 We really wanted to keep that OEM+ look, with this being the ultimate euro E36 M3 with all lightweight components. @eagbmw really is going above and beyond with this restoration.
