Que increíblemente especial hacer esta portada para @voguelatam con la bellísima @eizagonzalez Llevo un poco más de 20 años en Nueva York y gran parte de mi crecimiento la pasé en Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Para los que no están familiarizados: un barrio latino de pies a cabeza, lleno de cultura, pero sobretodo de respeto, cariño, y comunidad. Más allá de todas estas cualidades, ahí aprendí el significado y la importancia del apoyo mutuo. Siendo un niño inmigrante de 12 años buscando su lugar en NY, tuve la suerte de coincidir con otros jóvenes pasando por la misma experiencia, y fue en la cultura + amistades mexicanas que más cercano a casa me sentí. Casi dos décadas después llevo con mucho orgullo los años que viví en Sunset Park, y un amor muy MUY grande por México, su gente y cultura. Gracias siempre a todo el equipo de Vogue por la oportunidad de poder documentar un rinconcito de LATAM en NY.
