Hi I’m Dan 👋 25 Aug 2026 What’s a GTS? @dan.frombrooks is back to chat our best selling shoe, the Adrenaline GTS 26 🙌 04 Nov 2026 A LITTLE UNFAIR ADVANTAGE? 👀 We’ve called in @dan.frombrooks to drop some insider intel ahead of Sunday’s Beep Test. Turns out, your choice of footwear might be the difference between tapping out early and climbing a few extra levels. Straight from the expert. Consider this your competitive edge. Sunday 8 November @ 8am. No excuses now. Link in bio. Remember, one lucky runner wins a pair of Brooks @brooksrunningau 03 Nov 2026 Attention class, final details are in! The link is NOW LIVE in our bio to secure your spot via Strava! A little reminder that SPOTS ARE CAPPED, so don’t sleep on this. And because we love a little extra motivation… BROOKS HAVE JOINED THE PARTY! One lucky participant will be walking away with a brand-new pair of Brooks sneakers! All venue details are on Strava. Time to find out if you’ve still got it. 21 Oct 2026 Melbourne Marathon 2026 Reflecting and recovering in Palm Cove. It was a tough day out there. 2nd marathon in 6 weeks and gosh did I feel it. I had prioritised recovery in the gap. I had gee’d myself up for a PB attempt. It started well but you will see that I feel in a heap around km 34. Classic mistake? Maybe But also plenty of other factors. Early on I was on pace but might have benefited from being a few seconds closer to goal pace each km. Because along the road I blew up pretty quickly. My pace was sliding from around 33kms. I tried to channel @dancavpodiatrist motivational message to pull me back to goal pace a couple of times but just couldn’t sustain it. This graph shows where things official became a shuffle If this energy was found at some of the drinks stations maybe the ending would have been different. And here is where it became a genuine plod This stamina graph did make me feel like I gave it just about everything I had. It was interesting to experience two marathons fairly close together. Not for the faint-hearted. I definitely didn’t appreciate the mental fatigue that flowed on from Sydney. There was plenty of things that didn’t go to plan, both in and out of my control. Eg forgetting my headphones. Unfortunately not every day can be a PB. But I had a crack, didn’t quite get there but will be ready to reload and go again next time. Looking forward to some shorter and faster goals over the summer. ✌️ 14 Oct 2026 Meet the Ghost Amp, the latest addition to our Ghost range! @dan.frombrooks breaks down the tech behind our new Springramp technology and what makes the Ghost Amp stand out 🤟 13 Oct 2026 Ghost Amp is the new daily trainer that delivers a fun, propulsive, cushioned ride. It draws on the legacy of the OG Ghost but brings us a brand new midsole and forefoot technology. Peba is the foam used in lots of racing shoes. When we blend it with EVA, the result is a springy shoe, that is still stable and durable. Try this if you’re looking for a lightweight daily option that gives you more liveliness on your run. #dailytrainer #Brooks #runningshoes #ghostamp #peba 06 Oct 2026 Some learnings from Sydney Marathon ✅ I felt like I nailed my gels during the run. It’s important to use gels that you train with so your body becomes accustomed to utilising the fuel. ✅ The Sydney course is conducive to a fast start. Keeping early pace in check held me in good stead for a steady finish. ✅ The weather was warm so pre race hydration was prioritised. ✅ Hyperion Max 4 is an underrated race day option. A great blend of fast with stability. Non Carbon shoes have a place on race day. ✅ Chafe has ruined my day before. Best to avoid. ❌ it was hard to meet friends to run with unless you had the same start group. ❌ A busy work schedule made it hard to accurately carb load. I still felt fuelled before race day but would like to be more structured in future. ❌ The work schedule also meant a lot of time on feet in the lead up to race day. Ideally the days before would be a bit more relaxed than 17k step days. ❌ my pre-booked uber cancelled on race morning. Staying walking distance from a train station would eliminate some race morning stress. #runningtips #sydneymarathon #hyperionmax #gels 10 Sep 2026 Over a week on from Sydney Marathon. In the meantime, verify me please @officialunofficialtime @2xu 01 Sep 2026 Big week so far talking shoes and boats. Sydney has turned it on. Race kit is ready! Good luck to all running tomorrow. 29 Aug 2026 My Sydney marathon prep has been about as good as my pronunciation of “tib post”. The start line is in sight. Thrilled to say I’ll see you out there. Thanks to @blake.sportspodiatrist and @davetherapy for getting me there. #sydneymarathon #runninginjury #marathon #sydney 26 Aug 2026
