Desfiar a Cor: Tinturarias Naturais + INFO https://contextile.pt/workshops-2026/ Esta oficina prática proporciona uma introdução às técnicas históricas de tinturaria natural, através da experimentação de processos e receitas documentados em fontes históricas. Os participantes terão a oportunidade de conhecer e utilizar três das mais importantes matérias corantes empregues ao longo da História, o índigo, a cochonilha e o lírio dos tintureiros, explorando as suas propriedades, aplicações e importância histórica. A atividade promove a valorização do património técnico associado à produção têxtil e convida à reflexão sobre o contributo dos corantes naturais para práticas mais sustentáveis na atualidade. Todos os materiais necessários à realização da oficina serão disponibilizados. 🧵📸 Da fotografia à arte têxtil, um dia para descobrir diferentes formas de criar — e de olhar para o mundo. Ontem, os nossos alunos do 10.º ano de Imagem Interativa e dos três anos de Design de Equipamento partiram à descoberta de Guimarães através de um percurso dedicado à Imagem, ao Design e à Arte Contemporânea. No CIAJG (@ciajgguimaraes), obras de Ai Weiwei e Jorge Molder abriram espaço para pensar a imagem, a representação e a forma como a Arte comunica ideias. Depois, mergulhámos na Contextile 2026 — Bienal de Arte Têxtil Contemporânea (@contextile_biennial) : primeiro, através dos trabalhos de estudantes apresentados em «Emergências», no Instituto de Design de Guimarães, e, mais tarde, na Exposição Internacional patente no Centro Cultural Vila Flor. 🧶✨ Sob o tema «Por um Fio», materiais, técnicas e linguagens muito diferentes mostraram como a criação contemporânea pode também questionar os desafios sociais, ambientais e económicos do nosso tempo. PT | No âmbito do Plano Nacional das Artes, e em parceria com o Município de Guimarães @municipio.guimaraes , a Contextile 2026 acolheu cerca de três dezenas de professores de Artes Visuais de escolas do concelho, numa ação de formação dedicada à descoberta da bienal. A visita foi orientada por Cláudia Melo @claudia_santos_melo , Mónica Faria @amonicafaria , Pedro Silva @pedrojlsilva e Susana Milão @susana.milao , da equipa artística e curatorial da Contextile, promovendo a partilha e a reflexão em torno da arte têxtil contemporânea e das suas possibilidades no contexto educativo. Aproximar a arte da escola e criar novas pontes entre a criação artística e a educação. EN | As part of the National Arts Plan (Plano Nacional das Artes), and in partnership with the Municipality of Guimarães, Contextile 2026 welcomed around thirty Visual Arts teachers from schools across the municipality for a training session focused on discovering the biennial. The visit was led by Cláudia Melo, Mónica Faria, Pedro Silva and Susana Milão, members of Contextile’s artistic and curatorial team, encouraging exchange and reflection on contemporary textile art and its potential in education. About the Growing House Team Growing House is a collective artistic project initiated by Kate Egan and Professor Assadour Markarov in Hangzhou in 2022. Centered around the idea of “home,” the project explores the possibilities of creating a poetic space in a state of constant transformation—a space that offers shelter and security in the contemporary context. Curated by Assadour Markarov, with Zhu Zhixian and Ren Zhe as curatorial assistants, the Growing House project was reimagined for Contextile 2026 through the collaboration of 15 emerging artists and the Fiber Media Lab team. The participating artists include Maria Ganeva, Zhu Zhixian, Ren Zhe, Luo Shilin, Wang Sicong, Peng Sisi, Li Xinlu, Li Wen, Wang Xinya, Li Guiyan, Dong Yingying, Lü Jing, Mao Yusha, Wang Meijing, Xia Tianyi, Pan Weixuan, and Yu Zenan & Wuhuo. About Fiber Media Lab Fiber Media Lab (FML) serves as the curatorial support and production team for Growing House, contributing throughout the project’s planning, installation, and organization.
