Harvest 2026 - picking date 13/09 - 87 oechsle As every harvest, I’m grateful to have friends coming to share with me this few days … Analytically everything sounds perfect, fermentation already started, grapes were healthy , quantity -30% due to the heat but it’s fine. I will have 2 barrels of 225l this year. How was 2025 harvest ? Picked just on time at 87oe, quality of the grape were great full of flavors, small berries thanks to the old vineyard. After the press we got 520liters, which is 2 barrel and some experiment in demijohn. Maybe first kabinett?? Natural Fermentation are ongoing and all good so far. Thanks to the harvest crew this year who supported me, and special thanks to my buddy @madameflockwines ! 2023 harvest started on 22/09 for me, we drove from Berlin with @saufbae and some friends joined as well. @copains_du_vin @riennebilz @yourfrenchwine We had to make a very intense selection on the best vines, lots of rot, but what was left was beautiful. I have to say that we were amazed by the quality of the grapes, tiny berries, lots of flavors. The grapes were at 82 oechle which was perfect for dry Riesling. After the press the juice ran directly to a 400liter French barrel to under FA on gross lies. 2023 season was quite challenging starting with very early warm days followed by hot June which has lead to a lot of canopy management work. Then July the rain start and never stopped until harvest. 03 Sep 2024

March 2023 - Dream start, thanks to my dearest friend Rob ( @madameflockwines), got the chance to take over this small vineyard. I got a call when I was in the middle of prowein, "Hey Pierre, I might have found a vineyard for you, call her I think it's good." after looking the picture I decided to have a look at it on the same day. In one day the small dream became true. It was already end of march, and I had to organize the prunning of my new own vineyard.
