Over the past few months CIA's Jonny Wan has found himself using illustrator less and less and rendering more by hand digitally. He has always wanted drawing to play a bigger part throughout the creative process during commercial projects and is happy it’s becoming more so. This is a slight departure from the clean bold shapes that we're used to but we're really lovely this explorative discovery and can't wait to see more! More from Jonny, link in bio ❤️ #illustrationprocess #digitalillustration #procreateartwork #illustrations #digital_art #characterdesign #portrait #portraitart #portraitillustration #flatdesigninspiration #illustrationdaily #creativeprocess #creative #creativeart #creativelife #digitalillustrator #illustratenow #illustrationoftheday #flatillustration #centralillustrationagency #illustrationagency 05 Nov 2026

🌹 🌹 CIA's Stanley Chow has always had a fascination with Mexican culture, so he was delighted to have teamed up with @desperados_uk to rework six cards from Lotería, the traditional Mexican card game... Here is one, the rest are spread around Manchester, if you're in the area, see if you can spot them! More from Stan, link in bio! 🌹 🌹 #flatdesigninspiration #visforvector #illustrationdaily #pixelcart #illustratrice #picame #digitalillustrator #illustratenow #illustrationoftheday #flatillustration #DesperadosLoteria #mexican #mexico #cardgame #game #centralillustrationagency #illustrationagency 02 Nov 2026

🥈🥉 🍻 Congratulations to CIA's Simon Spilsbury and @supple_studio for their silver and bronze at 13th Brand Impact Awards! Silver for Best Illustration on 30 SKUs and bronze for best identity in wine/beer/spirits category for their @somervalleybrewing project! Simon is known for being able to create speedy comic character designs, but even for him 30 SKU's is quite the challenge! We caught up with Simon about the project, "All we needed were some playful drawings and some great design." Take a look at our full feature, including an unusual texture finding mission on the farm, link in bio! #CraftBeer #PackagingDesign #Illustration #CraftBeerPackaging #GraphicDesign #BeerLabelDesign #CraftBeerLife #IllustrationArt AwardWinningDesign #centralillustration #illustrationagency 29 Oct 2026

🌳 🌳 Special projects come along every now and then where both the author and the artist are rare talents. Prolific English children's author and master storyteller Michael Morpurgo's latest title has had its cover design created by CIA's Jeff Fisher. Jeff was invited to create the cover for Down Burrow Lane, the new memoir from the beloved children’s author, recounting decades of his life with wife Clare on their Devonshire farm. "I was more than glad to be associated with the extraordinary undertaking Michael and Clare set out on those many years ago. What a story. The very nice team at Hodder and Stoughton were a pleasure and did a great job.” More iconic and beautiful art from Jeff link in bio. 🌳 🌳 Thanks to @hodderbooks & @saffronstockerdesign Image credit @waterstones_chichester #illustration #illustragram #illustrationart #illustratorsofinstagram #illustratorsoninstagram #illustrationoftheday #illustrationofinstagram #illustrationagency #handdrawn #handdrawnart #handpainted #painted #creativeprocess #creative #creativeart #paintingart #paintingwithlight #drawing #sketch #sketchdaily #handcreated #handcrafted #centralillustration 26 Oct 2026

🔥 🔥 A bucket list project for Darren Hopes was to collaborate with @foliosociety but just imagine when the book you are to work on is one of your all time favourites - The Wasp Factory, written by Iain Banks. Darren Hopes told us "It is an inspiring prospect to work on any Folio Society book but when that book is one you know and love, when it is the first fully illustrated edition of that story, it becomes a passion project, one that you know will define a part of your career in illustration and stay with you forever." You can read the full feature about this fantastic project, link in bio. 🔥 🔥 #iainbanks #cover #illustration #illustragram #illustrationart #foliosociety #illustratorsofinstagram #illustratorsoninstagram #illustrationoftheday #illustration_art #illustrationofinstagram #illustratenow #illustrationagency #digitalart #vectorart #digitalpainting #creative #creativeart #bookcoverart #coverart #coverillustration #bookcover #centralillustration 21 Oct 2026

🌸 🌸 Our fantastic muralist partners Global Street Art recently hand-painted this stunning portrait on their Tabernacle Street Wall to celebrate the new Prada Paradoxe fragrance. Zendaya is standing tall and beautiful in Shoreditch right now - go see it for yourself (it’s pretty hard to miss…)! We've just added more projects to Global Street Art's folio, link to the Mural part of our site in bio. 🌸 🌸 #mural #muralpainting #muralart #illustratenow #handdrawn #handdrawnart #handpainted #painted #creativeprocess #creative #creativeart #creativelife #paintingart #drawing #sketch #sketchdaily #handcreated #handcrafted #centralillustration #illustrationagency 19 Oct 2026

🐕️ 🌴 💕 This pretty pooch is Grace. Grace's portrait has (of course) been crafted by the rather talented printmaker Chris Brown. We're loving the nod to Grace's owners home of Palm Springs in the background of this fabulous portrait. Chris tells us "I completed the piece a week ago and originally i thought just a black and white print but when i completed it and posted off to Michael I decided to play around and made a lino/collage. So here are a few photos of the final piece and how it came into being from initial sketches to cutting the first and final proof." See more from Chris, link in bio! 🐕️ 🌴 💕 #labrador #dogportrait #palmspringsstyle #linocut #collage #illustration #illustragram #illustrationart #illustratorsofinstagram #illustratorsoninstagram #illustrationoftheday #illustrationofinstagram #illustratenow #illustrationagency #handdrawn #creativeprocess #creative #creativeart #creativelife #drawing #sketch #sketchdaily #sketchaday #handcreated #handcrafted #centralillustration 12 Oct 2026

Have you met Lola Beltrán, a recent signing to CIA? Lola's style combines anything from comics, manga, animation cartoons, first internet era to classic Hollywood movie posters. Her ability to combine traditional drawing techniques, digital tools, as well as screen printing or lithography, not to mention a huge serving of sass, is truly unique. Take a look at more from Lola, link in bio! #newartist #illustration #illustrationnow #illustrationgram #illustrationartist #artist #graphic #graphicartist #artistoninstagram #illustrationagency #illustrations #digital_art #characterdesign #portrait #portraitart #portraitillustration #flatdesigninspiration#centralillustration #centralillustrationagency 05 Oct 2026

🌷🌷We love seeing the tools of printmaker Jonny Gibbs' trade, we once asked him to describe his studio, he said - "My studio has printing materials and presses, blocks and inks, books & guitars, a plans-chest. And there is a shed with open white space for drawing and painting at the top of the garden." 🪴 Also in this little array of images is a delightful little piece from last month by Jonny Gibbs for Gifford Flower Show. 🐝 The Gifford Flower Show has been a highlight of the village calendar for generations, celebrating horticulture, gardening and plenty of homegrown talent. The 2026 show took place on 22nd & 23rd August on the village green, with flowers, vegetables, handicrafts, baking and much more. 🌸 You can read our full interview with Jonny, link in bio 🌼 #SanctuaryPlants #GiffordFlowerShow #Gifford #GiffordHorticulturalSociety #EastLothian #HouseplantsEastLothian #Horticulture #Gardening #printmaking #printdesign #screenprinting #printing #printmakingstudio #woodcut #handprinted #art #print #printmaker #blockprinter #printmakingprocess #printmakingartist #printmakinglife #illustration #centralillustration #illustrationagency 23 Sep 2026

📕📚💕 If you're on the search for joyful, bold, colourful and fun illustrations then Ruby Taylor is your gal! Ruby's style is known for its playful qualities but also the ability to present multiple assets into one larger artwork without overwhelming the composition. This beauty was a map illustration created for Starlight Palms, the new sexy romance novel Vera Stein is Fine 📕📚💕 by @andimjulie You can see more joyful in Ruby's folio, link in bio 💕💕💕 #workinprogress #creativeprocess #illustration #illustragram #illustrationart #illustratorsofinstagram #handdrawn #handdrawnart #characterdesign #flatdesigninspiration #visforvector #illustrationdaily #digitalillustrator #illustrationoftheday #flatillustration #mapillustration #mapdesign #centralillustrationagency #illustrationagency 15 Sep 2026

Joyful Rebellion 💥 💚💜🧡 CIA's Holy Moly celebrating creative freedom and breaking the norms on purpose.
He said about this high energy illustration - "Fun exploration during a quiet spell in the studio. I wanted to make something raw and loud that speaks directly to my artistic philosophy: design doesn’t always need to follow the rules, fit neatly into a grid, or play it safe for the algorithm. For me, artwork has always been an act of joyful rebellion. A deliberate choice to step away from predictable trends and push the work that actually excites me.

Loving this rug mockup! Should I turn this into some physical art?" We say "YES!"
