Introducing GQ’s November 2026 issue: New Blood. Featuring @dc3media, @harrycollettactor, @italianbach, @joelocke03, @mattbroome3, @mrogers and @nemzzz_. The old establishment was pretty easy to spot: the uniforms, the institutions, the rules. Talent also had an address – the right school, the postcode and a familiar route to the top. No longer. We’ve assembled a cast from beyond the capital, and from every corner of culture. Alone, they represent the next gen. Together, they show that creativity goes in many different directions, and comes from many different sources. Yes, privilege remains entrenched in sport and the arts. But slowly, by way of the internet, decentralisation and shifting plates of power, there’s new blood on the horizon. Link in bio for more. Science has been using them for years to regulate everything from metabolism to hormones. But the rise in peptide use for cosmetic reasons is murkier. Unregulated and sold on third-party platforms, they arrive in clear little vials with brightly coloured lids promising a newer, better you in liquid form. It’s serious science that, once it reaches the internet, lends itself remarkably well to a fantasy of bodily optimisation. GQ speaks to the guys running the gauntlet in pursuit of their ideal selves. Written by @carmen_bellot Animations @fromm.studio 06 Nov 2026 “O’Connor would break the Bond mould entirely,” reasons culture editor @benappetit1 in this week’s Intermission newsletter. “He’s hot enough to make The Crown’s Prince Charles thirst-worthy, but interesting-looking enough to play him in the first place. He’s a subtle, empathetic performer, who can play shy, retiring guys and, as Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers exhibited, hulking, domineering rascals, too.” Link in bio for our take on why O’Connor is actually a great late-stage horse in the Bond race and subscribe for more. 06 Nov 2026 The Met just announced its 2027 Costume Institute exhibition, and T-shirts and jeans are getting their museum moment. Which is pretty exciting, actually. Especially if you’re the sort of guy who spends three hours finding the perfect plain white tee. Hit the link in bio for why we’re very much into it. 06 Nov 2026 “Why can Iggy Pop grow old and still be on stage with his top off doing rock music, but we can’t?” asks @skepta. “Black rappers get to 35, 38 and start panicking. So why is it OK for white people and not Black people to grow old in music? This is something Black artists need to stop doing to themselves.” Between all the DJing and fashion work, the UK legend has found time for The Fork and Knife, his first full-length release since 2019, which is out today. Read our conversation about embracing genre-hopping, the Dave verse that didn’t quite materialise and the double standards holding back rappers over 40. Link in bio for more. 06 Nov 2026 Big, big news for British fashion. Just hours after Pierpaolo Piccioli’s departure, Balenciaga has announced Martine Rose as its new creative director. The designer has been making some of menswear’s most thoughtful and interesting clothes for her own label since 2007. And today, she becomes the first woman to lead Balenciaga in its 109-year history. What a moment for Martine Rose. 06 Nov 2026 What would you wear to meet the Pope? A suit? A nice sweater, maybe? Not for Bob Dylan, who turned up to Pope Leo’s gaff in a black hoodie and jacket. A hell of a choice — even to the designer. “You know, it’s quite funny because it’s a very simple jacket, and now everyone is obsessed with it. It doesn’t even look good. With this hoodie, it’s not really flattering.” GQ decodes Dylan’s fit, at the link in bio. 06 Nov 2026 Just over a year after taking over from Demna, Pierpaolo Piccioli is officially leaving Balenciaga. The Italian designer arrived in July 2025, bringing a softer, more couture-focused approach to the French house. And after months of rumours about his future, the news is now official. Hit the link in bio for everything we know so far. 05 Nov 2026 What happens when you invite a bunch of Australians to a Chanel show? Some very good fits – done the relaxed, laid-back way. The French house took its latest collection to Sydney, and the guys turned up ready to make a night of it. Joel Edgerton, Baz Luhrmann, and co got stuck into the Chanel wardrobe (despite the fact that the brand still doesn’t technically make menswear). Here’s what the boys wore Down Under. 05 Nov 2026 This week’s US midterms gave us a lot to talk about – including the fact that a lot of the winning candidates had very good heads of hair. Considering the last bald British prime minister was Winston Churchill, more than 70 years ago, the question rises: does having a full head of hair actually help you get elected? Researchers have been looking into this stuff for years. Hit the link in bio for more. 05 Nov 2026 Grey hair is inevitable for most men, but what happens when it arrives decades ahead of schedule? While greying typically begins in your 30s, some start seeing silver in their teens and early 20s. So, when there are too many hairs to pluck, do you lean in or reach for the Just for Men? With inspiration from online communities like Gray and Proud and Silver Revolution, plus the likes of Paul Mescal and Jeremy Allen White, young men are learning that silver may mean gold. Words by @will_coldwell Illustrations by @rosietoole 04 Nov 2026 “It’s actually a challenge to find good condition run-of-the-mill suits like that.” Turns out, dressing Robert Pattinson in menacing beige tailoring isn’t as easy as you’d think. We sat down with Primetime costume designer Alex Bovaird to talk department store ties, bingeing To Catch a Predator, and why Pattinson’s suits were “his persona, his armour, his superhero costume”. Hit the link in bio for the full chat. 04 Nov 2026
