Before reverb lived in a plug-in, Etta James put heartbreak inside a room. She recorded “I’d Rather Go Blind” at FAME Studios in 1967. On my song “Higher,” I’m using the mono chamber in @ikmultimedia FAME Studio Reverb to give separately recorded instruments one shared location—not a giant reverb tail, but the feeling of one record. XR1 Dev Update 🔊 Hello everyone! We know many of you have been waiting for an update on the XR1’s development. We apologize for being so quiet lately, but we have some great news: today, we finally reached OS Version 0.9 internally! Starting tomorrow, we will begin stress testing and implementing further functional improvements. That being said, we are getting incredibly close to the official launch. Currently, we are working closely with @tone3000 to integrate the tone library, which is something we are all extremely excited about. We believe the XR1 will offer the best and most seamless workflow and design across the entire T3K library platform, alongside our hundreds of stage-ready effects. We cannot wait to show you more. On the hardware side, our first PVT (Production Verification Test) was a major success. Although we identified a few areas for hardware improvement, the new production materials have arrived this week, and we are aiming to start mass production shortly. In other news, our European distributor will be showcasing the latest version of the XR1 at Guitar Summit 2026 in Mannheim, Germany. If you happen to be there, please go check it out and share your feedback with us! Lastly, our current plan is to target our official launch and open pre-orders after the show. We hope to ship the first batch out the door and have them delivered to you by late October or early November, so please stay tuned with us!
