So here’s the thing about that cover line: It’s a tongue-in-cheek reference to the social media narrative that won’t seem to go away. No steezes were stolen. Models Amelia Gray and Gabbriette are demonstrably not twins. Not arch enemies either. And, as becomes clear in our cover interview, each has a distinct style linked to their unique backgrounds. For Gray, that means growing up as the daughter of a famous Hollywood couple (Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin), while Gabbriette’s influences stem from her teenage years exploring the LA music scene and Chicana culture. In fact, one of the reasons the pair wanted to appear together in Allure’s 30th Anniversary Best of Beauty portfolio was to demonstrate their differences—and friendship. Go to the link in bio to dig into their freewheeling (and revealing) joint interview. Onstage and in her music videos, she often plays with notions of exaggerated femininity, so photographer Hugo Comte took inspiration from Vargas girls and other midcentury pinup art that used airbrushed effects to isolate and often magnify certain body parts while letting others fade into the background. (In case you were wondering where the rest of her went.) Fading into the background is not something Larsson has any intention of doing as a performer. Discover her plans for a global takeover at the link in our bio. And as we've seen, the graveyard of celebrity beauty brands has continued to grow this year. Yet, on October 28, Jennifer Lawrence announced that she was launching Mes° Beauty. Welcome back to Beau-Tea with senior news editor James Manso (@jamesmanso) and executive beauty director Jenny Bailly (@jbailly). In this episode, we're unpacking the drama surrounding celebrity beauty brands and what it really takes to create a successful one. Tap the link in bio to read our editors’ honest takes on Mes°’s three products. 06 Nov 2026 “This pop-up is really an ode to a key point of our origin story, the French pharmacy,” Joyce de Lemos (@joycedeezy), biochemist and Dieux cofounder, tells Allure of the brand’s New York City activation. De Lemos and fellow cofounder Charlotte Palermino (@charlotteparler) are paying homage to the French pharmacy’s top-level skin care and accessibility that inspired their brand. From the standard green European pharmacy symbol to the shelves and shelves of products, the nod is unmistakable. Pharmacie Dieux x Sephora will be open November 6 to 8. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by De Lemos, Palermino, or another skin expert, who will guide you through a personalized consultation using a questionnaire to get to know your skin concerns, questions, and goals. Think of it as a little skin-care deep dive: You’ll walk away with product recommendations tailored to your skin type and a few new tips and tricks to put to use at home. Another perk? You can shop like a Sephora Rouge member with access to a special discount. “It’s such an incredible year because we just launched Skin Mercy Intense Recovery Cream this year, and that won a Best of Beauty Award! I’ve been chasing that badge for so long. So to be able to present it and have everybody try it in this environment, it’s nice to touch base with our community,” De Lemos says. Photos: @katiegunderman, @oharpaz 06 Nov 2026 If you’re human, you’ve most definitely dealt with a bump on your eyelid at least once in your life. Eyelid bumps are a part of life, whether they appear around your eyes, your lash line, your waterline, or on your actual eyelid. Typically, most eyelid bumps and lumps, like acne, milia, and styes, are totally harmless and go away on their own with at-home treatments. But the keyword here is most. Before you chalk up your red, swollen eyelid to an easy-breezy stye, make sure you’re aware of the other possibilities and know what to look out for on your own face. To help you out, we chatted with three board-certified dermatologists about what causes a bump on your eyelid, how to treat each type, and how to prevent them from coming back. Tap the link in bio. This is what attendees at this year’s Allure Best of Beauty Live had on them. #BestofBeautyLive #AllureBestofBeautyLive 110 likes · 0 comments · 05 Nov 2026 Considering how many of us claim that mascara is the one item of makeup we won’t leave the house without wearing, you’d think it would be easier to figure out. In addition to a wisely chosen formula, the difference between a beautifully lifted, fluttery effect and a clumpy, smudged one often comes down to what you do before the wand ever comes near your eyes, how much product you leave on the bristles, and which technique you use to apply the mascara. We asked makeup artists to give us their no-fail pro tips for prepping for mascara, applying it, and—because even the most skilled wand wielder still makes mistakes—cleaning up any mess. Tap the link in bio to read all their tips. 54 likes · 0 comments · 05 Nov 2026 Despite what you might have heard, aging is not a skin-care emergency. Your face does not need to be “fixed,” signs that time has inevitably marched on don’t need to be reversed, and doing absolutely nothing to address the many normal versions of mature skin is not neglectful. But because our skin—and our perception of it—do change with age, it’s also completely understandable to want to adjust the way you take care of it. Comment ‘DERM’ to meet and shop the nine 2026 Best of Beauty winners that dermatologists recommend for mature skin. #AllureBestofBeauty #BestofBeauty 1,862 likes · 54 comments · 05 Nov 2026 Bangs as a Botox replacement?
