i used to read asc magazine in between running cable through dog 💩 in the les or pissy bathroom floors in bushwick. or sitting in the back of the electric truck with 3 open face lights drying my clothes after getting soaked through my socks in the rain. now i’m one of asc magazines 2026 rising stars of cinematography.

i’m truly honored to be included as one of the @filmmakermag 25 New Faces of Independent Film 2024.
there’s a lot of people i look up to who have never gotten the recognition they deserve so i won’t wax poetic about the grind.
i just want to say to any of my people who are questioning the path, hang in there. balancing your personal, family, + social life, mental, physical, + spiritual health, along with your career, self-promotion, finances, and life dreams is often overwhelming. especially during a pandemic, industries in free fall, an affordable housing crisis, ongoing genocides, a climate crisis, cops shooting people over subway fare, the list goes on.
it’s a marathon not a sprint and if we stay dedicated to self-care, craft + community there’s brighter days ahead.
i’m deeply grateful to my collaborators, crew family, family + friends who have been with me every step of the way. i love you ❤️🔥
we’re just getting started 💫
