In 2016, two guys from a fashion school walked into my old office. We became officemates then; that October, we produced our first fashion show together. Ten years later, we’ve grown together and separately, elevated and evolved into what TFA is today. And this year, JC @jasoncameron1 and Basil @basilwaris trusted me with something much bigger: the freedom to bring my perspective and style across FECC Magazine pages. We spent weeks editing together, shooting together, building together, and genuinely enjoying the chaos of creating something this ambitious. I don’t think people fully understand the magnitude of what JC and Basil have built, or the work it took to get here. This August alone, we did what many people told us was impossible: built our entire September issue while executing more than 20 projects across Canada and the U.S. And somewhere in the middle of filming a TV show, I flew to LA for 48 hours to make this cover happen with an incredible team. This issue was built with an unwavering belief in our vision and in creating space in a market that was never designed to give us a seat at the table. So we built our own. A bigger table.
