Ruel @oneruel has been chasing the perfect song since he was 14. The London-born, Sydney-raised singer has grown up in the spotlight, but with his latest album, Kicking My Feet & Screaming, he’s less interested in chasing perfection than in getting to the messy heart of things. Bodhi Rae Breathnach @bodhiraeactor was almost not in Hamnet — until Steven Spielberg said: “She is the girl.” From there, the 15-year-old found herself travelling across the country, juggling school, friendships and increasingly major film sets, with the role alongside Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal leading to Robert Eggers’ Werwulf and the new adaptation of Sense and Sensibility. In conversation with BTB, Breathnach talks about growing up on set, relating to her character Margaret Dashwood, and her dream of winning an Oscar — although meeting BTS might just be the bigger life goal.
