2Pac's Breakup Letter to Madonna
It was never a secret that Pac dated Madonna. As most of you already know @rosieperezbrooklyn was the one who introduced him to her at the 7th Annual @soultrainofficial Music Awards at the @shrinela in Los Angeles, California on March 9, 1993.ย From there they hit it off. Pac kept it mature, straight to the point and unfiltered when he wrote this letter.
On this day in 1995 @2pac wrote a break-up letter to @madonna during his incarceration at Rikers Island in New York on January 15, 1995.ย This was just a month before he got sentenced and was transferred to Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, New York on February 14, 1995.ย

This amazing and memorable interview was aired on MTV just one week later Pac made it. He drops so much knowledge already at the age of 22. In my opinion, it still remains one of the best and most unforgetable interviews he ever made during his lifetime. Here is more clips.
On this day in 1994 @mtvnews dropped the Above the Rim press junket with @2pac including @marlonwayans conducted by @mtvnews reporter Abbie Kearse in Beverly Hills, California. @madonna watched it off camera.

WHEN 2PAC GEORGE JEFFERSON WALKED OUT OF COURT ๐
๐๏ธ 33 YEARS AGO TODAY: 2Pac showed up to Atlanta Municipal Court after shooting two off-duty cops on Halloween, 1993
๐ BACKSTORY:
The incident broke out at Peachtree and 14th Street around 2:30 AM Sunday morning.
Pac's attorney, Kenneth Ellis, stated that Clayton County off-duty officers Mark Whitwell and Scott Whitwell overreacted by pulling a weapon, turning a routine traffic dispute into a shooting.
All charges were later dropped after it was revealed both officers were intoxicated, carrying stolen guns from an evidence locker, and initiated the dispute.
And how did Pac celebrate? ๐คฃBy hitting the ultimate "George Jefferson" strut right out of the courtroom.
Once outside, he casually signed autographs for fans while warning reporters heโd run them over with his Benz if they didn't clear the road. LOL. ๐๐จ
WOULD ANY RAPPER TODAY HAVE THIS SAME ENERGY?
Be honest in the comments! โฌ๏ธ

THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF 2PAC'S HIT 'EM UP ๐คฏ
๐๏ธ 31 YEARS AGO TODAY 2Pac recorded the original version of "Hit 'Em Up" (produced by Johnny "J")
๐๏ธ BACKGROUND:
๐๏ธ Recorded: October, 31, 1995
๐ Can-Am Studios, Tarzana, CA
โ๏ธ Produced by: @johnny_j_beats
๐๏ธ Featuring: @mutahbeale, @edidono4l, @fatalvelli, @yakikadafi, @stormoutlawimmortal and the late Prince Ital Joe
๐ BACKSTORY:
"Hit 'Em Up" wasn't originally the track we know today. Early versions had totally different lyrics and featuresโbut both went hard ๐คฃ
According to sources the original version was scrapped after Biggie and Junior M.A.F.I.A. allegedly caught wind of the track through Faith Evans and dropped a sample-jacking "Get Money" remix first. Furious, Pac completely flipped the beat, locked in and re-recorded the entire legendary track on March 29, 1996โpreviewing it just two days later.
If Pac had dropped that original version, we never would've gotten that infamous opening line and outro. Either way, this legendary record remains just as relevant 30 years later and is permanently etched in hip-hop history.
โ ๏ธ For years fans called it "Hit 'Em Up 2," but it's officially confirmed to be the original.
Which version hits harder? ๐
The OG or the final version? Let me know below! โฌ๏ธ

โ๏ธ Produced by @johnny_j_beats
๐ค Featuring. Dru Down (opening), Hussein Fatal, Yaki Kadafi and Nate Dogg
๐ฃ๏ธ Outro: Snoop Dogg
๐น Additional tracking: @djquik
๐ For All Eyez on Me
๐ฃ๏ธ All About U was more than a song about groupies. It was a roast of attention-seeking video girls, gold diggers and women chasing fame, money and access to celebrities. The real irony? The men were playing games too. Everybody wanted something, but nobody wanted to admit it. Like Pac once said: "Some of you n*ggaz is b*tches too." ๐
๐กPac came up with the idea of the song while listening to Cameo's 'Candy' in the car and had Johnny "J" sample it.
Still hitting the same 30 years later? ๐

YOU CAN'T LISTEN TO THIS 2PAC SONG WITHOUT CRYING ๐ข
๐๏ธ 31 YEARS AGO TODAY 2Pac recorded Life Goes On (produced by Johnny "J")
๐๏ธ BACKGROUND:
๐๏ธ Recorded: October, 23, 1995
๐ Can-Am Studios, Tarzana, CA
โ๏ธ Produced by: @johnny_j_beats ๐๏ธ
๐ค Featuring: @staceysmallie
๐ญ BEHIND THE SCENES:
Johnny "J" called this the saddest Pac session he ever did. The whole studio broke down in tears. Even the hardest OG's. ๐
๐ผ THE TRIBUTE VIDEO:
Created for 2Pacโs 1st official memorial service held by the Shakur family in Atlanta (1997). This tribute video actually inspired the official "Changes" music video that came after. ๐๏ธโจ
โ ๏ธ Pac also laid his first verse for Better Dayz with O.F.T.B the same day.
A timeless classic that hits the soul every time. Right alongside "Pour Out A Little Liquor", "How Long Will They Mourn Me", "So Many Tears", "I Ain't Mad At Cha" and "The Good Die Young" this is the ultimate comfort song when you're grieving. Nobody captured raw emotion like Pac.
